It's coming up to the anniversary of My pet adoption of my baby, Chau!
I adopted him from an animal shelter in Pennsauken, December 2007. He was nervous and untrusting. He had an eye infection that stemmed from dirt getting into his scratched cornea.

I walked him everyday, in November... until I got a horrible Flu.
The Flu put me down for 3 solid weeks! I went to the shelter and they told me someone else was looking over " My Chau"... yes, he was already My Chau. SO, I was not a sure win, to get him.

I actually cried right there in the shelter!

I explained to them that I had been sick and I couldn't come out.
Luckily, a friend of mine from high school worked at the shelter!
She was there when I was coming in everyday.... snow or not!
She spoke on my behalf and by December 15th 2007.. Chau became my baby!

Today... his eye was corrected, because he was on the verge of losing it back then. He loves children... not men so much.
He is the protective little yapper that little dogs are known for!

Nice to hear teebee. I got a rescue Dog, a couple of weeks ago and the wee guy is fitting in brilliantly. He never leaves my side when I come in from work and is a good natured, friendly Dog. Glad I got him teebee!

Cool! Rescues need love too!

Its almost 8 yrs to the day that I took my beautiful yellow lab home from the Myrtle Beach Animal rescue. He was painfully shy and had Heart worm. I paid 500 dollars for the treatments, the heart worm was cured and love cured the shyness. Now he's my best buddy!!

AWESOME!!! I wish everyone would get a rescue...
