More people signed on in support of Phil Robertson and Duck Dynasty in 24hrs than have signed on for Obozocare in the last 3 months. People seem to have moral priorities in place, perhaps there IS hope for America after all.

I support Phil Robertson's right to spew his opinion and support for the(hateful) things he has been taught and learned from the Bible.

Freedom of speech and all. Freedom of religion and all. But...

If what Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty did is determined to be "hate speech" and he is simply quoting from the Bible, or spouting views taught from the Bible, then wouldn't the Bible be considered "Hate speech" also?

It says that homosexuals, adulterers, children who curse their parents, witches, etc. shall all be put to death for their sins.

One response is that Jesus died for our sins so the old laws have been fulfilled and the price has been paid for all sins... so then I guess we can all sin, and the wages for sin (death) has been paid.

For everyone.

So sin has become a moot point. The bill has been paid. Does that make any sense?

Here is a very interesting take on the Duck Dynasty story:

Also, I think we should fire all the priests and preachers because they spew the same opinions.

I think people ought to chill the **** out, everyone has the right to like and dislike anyone they choose for any reason and that is quite okay so long as it does not result in injury or harassment. As I see it those who oppose queer people or the liberal ideology are being bullied and as you, I and everyone else is well aware of, bullying is wrong.

More people signed an online poll because it was free and easy and everybody can sign if they wish. Many probably signed more than once.

As for the ACA, 75% of the population isn't even eligible for it, since they're already covered through other plans, and Duck Dynasty fans don't have to look into which letter they'd sign. In some states, there are more than 20 plans to choose from.

Not surprised that those details seem to escape you.

Obozocare sucks and everybody with an IQ over 85 knows it and they also know it will implode under its own bloated weight because most people are not going to go along with it regardless whether the site is working or not. Get over it, its a dud just like Obozo.

I think Obama care will be used by people who can't get insurance any other way because stupid Insurance companies won't insure people with preexisting conditions, which is stupid and pointless where healthcare is concerned.

People who need it can't get it.

I hope most people don't sign up for any of it, and refuse to pay any fines and refuse to pay their taxes, and just start working for cash.

Most of the people who signed up for Obamacare either lost their insurance (they were promised they could keep) because of that crappy law or they are getting enrolled automatically, without choice, for Medicaid. You keep talking about how great Obamacare is.....my guess is you don't buy your insurance so you have no idea what the real ramifications of the unaffordable health care act are on the middle class who pay for their own insurance.

As for the 75% who you claim aren't eligible for Obamacare, most of them aren't eligible because they have insurance through their employers. Many will be affected by it when the employer mandate kicks in and one of two things is likely to happen. They will have to contribute more to the cost of insurance or they will lose their employer based insurance and get dumped into the exchanges.

Just for the record, Obama shouldn't be eligible for the insurance he supposedly bought on the DC exchange since he gets employer insurance. Seem like the only way that could happen is by lying and committing fraud. Or did they make another change to the "law of the land" allowing him specifically to buy that insurance? laugh

If Obamacare was so good the rules wouldn't be getting changed so often. But it is working as it was intended which was to collapse the private insurance industry by making it unaffordable. That is what people like you want. It's probably why "progressive liberals" (what an oxymoronic description) quit bitching about the law not having a government option, they were probably guaranteed it would eventually be the ONLY option.

The law was passed by lying to the American people, period. Some people are still lying about the unaffordable care act even though more and more people are seeing the truth. Zealots will never admit the truth when it doesn't serve their goals because the means always justify the ends in their minds. Some are idiots who don't know they are repeating lies and they can't be blamed for being stupid.

Your rhetoric may fly with those who aren't aware of the truth but those people are becoming fewer and fewer as the reality of the unaffordable care act is impacting more and more people.

But according to what you said in the past......I don't know how insurance works or how this law will affected me. Also according to you the $3800 dollar increase in my out of pocket cost, to a middle class citizen like me, shouldn't matter. psssssst.........3800 matters to a single person with a gross income of $48K. Well it may not matter to a person who is still living with mommy and daddy who is under 26....since being 26 is now considered a "child" so they can be covered by their parents insurance. What a joke. laugh

It is not about health care, its about total control of everything. They have control of our food with Monsanto GMO non reproducing fruits and veggies, and they have control of the roads and Hwys, and they have control of the energy, the grid, the television.

Obama care puts all of your medical information into the hands of the overlords.

What I would like to see happen is for no one to sign up for that healthcare bill, everyone gets fined and then everyone sues the government for trying to enforce an illegal bill. It being illegal since various members of government are exempt from it. If that didn't shut it down then I don't know what would.
