BETHANY, Okla. —A mother and child attacked by a man posing as a UPS driver on Friday were saved by the family's pit bull.

It happened in a neighborhood near Lake Overholser.

The man was holding a package when the woman opened her front door and sprayed her and her infant son with pepper spray.

The family dog, Louie, sprang into action when the woman cried out, and chased the man from the house.

"She was hysterical. She could barely speak," said neighbor Heather Baird, who heard the woman screaming.

Baird called the woman's husband, Ryan Bounds, who was at work.

"I tried to get here as fast as I could," said Bounds.

He said he's lucky the dog was there to protect his family, but since the attacker is still on the loose, he is warning other families to be careful.

"Make sure you know who it is before you answer the door," said Bounds.

The mother and son went to a hospital to have the pepper spray washed off their faces and are doing okay now, said Bounds.

A redneck with a bucket full of live fish, was approached recently by a game warden in Texas as he started to drive his boat away from a lake. The game warden asked the man, "May I see your fishing license please?" "Naw, sir," replied the redneck. "I don't need none of them there papers. These here are my pet fish."
"Pet fish!?!?"
"Yep. Once a week, I bring these here fish o'mine down to the lake and let 'em swim 'round for a while. Then when I whistle, they swim right back into my net and I take 'em home."
"What a line of baloney....you're under arrest."
The redneck said, "It's the truth, Mr. Gov'ment man. I'll show ya!
We do this all the time!!"
