If you was in a bad relationship and met another sweetie with same name. Would you try to get in the relationship or run like hell hot water?

What does the same have to do with it? Just because first one was bad,don't mean second one would be. Besides there is always nicknames.

I personally have never had this problem. I don't think this should be an issue though. He is a different person and should be treated as such. I am sure he has a middle name if you are not ready for the nickname stage yet.

If you call your partner babe or darling you have given them all the same name anyway
