You have to look up the specs for the motherboard and see what video card is compatable. No need to get superior if a woman knows more than you, and has the ultimate correct answer..  It all depends on the mother board capabilities to what you WANT to run for what. Bus speeds and AGP and video co processors and built in RAM. Furthermore, it also depends on what the BIOS recognizes for hardware and how old the version is and what bugs the BIOS version has or not. Most BIOS software IS PROPRIETARY!!! |

Obviously, upgrading a gfx card might mean upgrading so much more, as the above said. Tech just changes so fast. Might want to invest in something you can over-clock tho' that brings it's own hazards. I can't recommend anything off-hand but, yes, newegg is a good site for deals. Good luck.
