Topic: People doing an odd thing | |

Because half my face is paralysed, the women at work (yes just the women) often ask me why I am looking at them funny or ask why I am staring at their hair, is there something wrong with it? To save myself from constantly repeating myself, I began saying that I am not looking at them, I am looking at the man standing behind them. 5 out of 7 women verbally stated that there is no man behind them, but 7 out of 7 looked behind themselves. Even one standing next to a wall, where the odds of someone being behind was nil. So would you look?

Well I usually dont say anything about someone staring. I just figure people are like me and zone out from time to time. I would look though if told there is a man behind me. Gullible I guess...

So out of 7, you never stared at 1 for admiring beauty / maybe something wrong with their faces. Anyways, if you tired of repeating yourself & the same gullible line; then say something new. Chances are I wouldn't look even if your other half is cute as the rest. |

Chances are I wouldn't look even if your other half is cute as the rest. When someone talks to me I look at them, because my face is a little off they always make a comment. Do I have to tell the same people over and over that my face is paralysed? "The man behind you" is my new line and I am thinking of even better ones |

I probably would look to see what you found interesting about a man/woman, or whatever else you said you were staring at,,,

I am very literal, so, of course, I would look behind me.
I am a wee confused, though. Is it the patched eye/side that throws them? If so, I would get one of those fake eyeballs (that follow a person as they move) and glue it to the patch. They won't be able to look away.. |

I've got a lot going on too I find people always offering to help. If I were in your shoes I'd just keep telling them, their bound to understand sooner or later, but your humor is sweet as you
