anyways long story short, I've found this man living near me who advertise himself being single. when I messaged him he said he is neither in a relationship or married. we exchanged numbers, sent a few texts to each other and he said he wanted to meet me for a meal.
day later I got a sms form his number, but not from him.
yep you've guessed it it was from his wife.
I apologized to her I didnt know he was married and promised her never to contact him again. I dont want to anyway.

so... is this kind of behavior report-worthy to the admins?

I don't see why not, it could be worth a try.
Sorry to hear about your experience, maybe get to know someone for quite a while before meeting up is best. There is heaps of normal and nice people here, hang in the forums and you will meet them.

Oh I just checked out your profile, gidday from the Sunshine Coast.

It wont make any differnce darling they cant prove whether they are married or not,this site is full of players both men and women.You just have to be extra diligent in your quest.

Sorry this happened to you.. As far as actions there is not much the site can do if someone says they are single but yet Married.

Now if they tried to scam you out of money then the site will take actions as far as that member being here..But still little we can do...

Just be really carefully who you give your number to ect..

And please never post members user names on the forums always report them.

In this case you can report the member through their e-mail and let Admin take a look and decide what actions they may take.
