Micah 7:19

I can't even begin to imagine how much I disappoint God through sinning and turning away from Him to do what satisfies me. And to think that He will always forgive me when I repent and ask Him too is almost too good to be true. But I truly believe that He does. That He keeps His word.

As a human being with sensitive feelings its sometimes very difficult for me to forget about the pain and disappointment when other people have sinned against me. I don't toss the experience into the darkest parts of anywhere so they can't be brought back to mind, in fact, I purposefully remember them so I don't let the same situation happen again.

Trying to live life the way God wants and has asked us too through His word can be a very challenging experience indeed.

When I was young I spent years of my life learning about and reading from God's Word and having Bible studies with my neighbors and strangers alike.

It seemed like everybody who felt the calling and tug at their heart's door was eager to learn more, just as I was too. I miss those days.

James 3:17

One of the bible secrets I learned throughout all the years I studied was that whatever happens in our lives today has already happened to everybody else who came before us. And every possible scenario with its guidance and promise if adhered too can be found within its many books, pages and parables.

I am an open minded individual that believes each and every culture has the right to believe in the higher power of their choice. After all, our lives naturally reflect what our hearts most believe and hold dearest to ourselves.

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen (Ezekiel 16:49–50).

Everything Has Its Time

Everything on earth
has its own time
and its own season.
There is a time
for birth and death,
planting and reaping,
for killing and healing,
destroying and building,
for crying and laughing,
weeping and dancing,
for throwing stones
and gathering stones,
embracing and parting.
There is a time
for finding and losing,
keeping and giving,
for tearing and sewing,
listening and speaking.
There is also a time
for love and hate,
for war and peace.

(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

It's just so liberating when you are able to embrace both polarities, not just hold to one....

Turn!Turn! Turn!"

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late!

There's no evil intent of the heart that God doesn't know and give us the ability to overcome. So often when the world seems uninviting and even hurtful I know the devil is near and has his hand in whatever calamity he's trying to bring about with the help of those who follow his voice.

Matthew 18:3

I've always loved this bit of biblical encouragement. In contemplation of its true meaning I realized for me this means that only if I'm able to subdue my will to do everything my way and become teachable like a child there's no way I'd want to suffer as Christ did for a heavenly goal I have to believe in sight unseen.
