Over 100 friend requests and some message i have only one friend why? Can any one answer

Join the forums then you can meet like minded people and your friend count will climb for sure. Good luck to you.

You can't just send a friend request and expect that person to accept it.....I only send a friend request after I have actually had a conversation with the person and then it is their choice if they want to accept my invitation......

most everyone on here is friendly, that should be good enough....don't worry about the numbers, get to know some people first...
maybe they'll be sending a request to you....

I agree with what others have said, and most people are more likely to reply to an email than a friend request, because they don't know you to begin with. There are scammers everywhere and people are rightly cautious, who wants to give a scammer some credence by becoming their friend. Posting in the forums is the best way to get to know people on here in my opinion.

Because being friends should mean something. It isn't a numbers game. Only facebook fanatics care about friend collecting. They normally have about 500 facebook "friends". Yet I can gaurantee they hardly speak to most of them on the friend list. I'd rather keep my tiny circle of friends, than some meaningless add on. True friends are those who check that you're feeling okay. True friends don't dissapear on you. Think about it for a little while. Why would you want "friends" that never speak to you? Some just see it as a popularity contest. Yet those types that do, normally end up lonely, with no-one to turn to, as they were only ever thinking about themselves all along.

Making friends here is the same as in real life....you get to know them by chatting and sharing experiences, it is NOT an instant click of the button.......click....we are friends now.

People usually aren't too receptive for a Request out of the blue,unless they might have seen you in the Forums for a while!

Are you virtual friends collector? A number means nothing. One true and caring friend is better than a hundred nicknames in your "Friends" box of your internet profile....

Well there is more to getting friends than just sending friends requests. I get so many friend requests from people who I have never had any contact with. I think some of them have a machine like this ...

be patient. Friend matters not friend requests.

cuz u are from India ! i am new here but easy to know some users dont prefer certain countries! contempt or racial

if you are just sending out random friend requests, its like picking up a telephone and calling random strangers to say be my friend.
most will ignore. some will amuse themselves at your expense.
and just maybe that one that says yes is either just as random as you or completely insane?
a better idea is to interact with people on the forums. get to know people and the friendship will happen naturally. wishing you the best

I would like to share my view.

There are 3 types on people on here.

1. Those who want friends
2. Those who do not want friends just looking
3. Those who are not really bothered.

This is not Facebook where you can get 2,000 fake friends.

To get friends on here I think you need to connect with people. Visit the forum and get your name out there. Post replies to threads. Start a thread. Most importantly before you friend someone try and have a conversation with them and after a few emails than ask the question.
