4000 troops for what?

"...The United States will send troops, material to build field hospitals, additional health care workers, community care kits and badly needed medical supplies...

"...the military's efforts to improve logistics, to build additional field hospitals and to create what the President called an "air bridge" to bring in additional supplies and health care workers. The effort will be called Operation United Assistance..."

You're welcome. Oh, and sorry to read that your internet's broken.

winking

unfortunately yours seems to be working just fine. However your post is CNNs statement.

Similar to the last time America sent thousands of troops to Africa to reinforce French ranks under Bush.

They claimed the same thing.

Only difference was it was under a different guise.

Herakles Farms is going foward with plans for 180,000 acre palm-oil , rubber plantation and refinery in south west Cameroon despite lack of goverment authorization, two court injunctions , and in the face of significant community opposition.

Herakles is connected to the powerful Blackstone Group, a massive investment group who represents the vanguard of a new "scramble for land" in Africa by western companies.

So much for your internet.

The 4000 troops is to secure growing

Oh what a very smart reply.
But not one single criticism of Isis or even a mention of those savages.
You need to take that giant religious chip of your shoulder.

its probably because as a vet who actually served, I have an idea outside of your force fed media to understand that there is no isis.

The insurgents are attempting to remove the goverment Bush installed. Id hope we'd do the same if China installed an Chinese goverment in America for resources and strategic reasons.

The insurgents want their country back, as we would under the same circumstances.

The insurgents are also fighting Kurds, whom have agreed to support the US in return for a Kurdish homeland, debt forgiveness and UN recognition.

I'd turn off your t.v. if I were you.

And you say I'm brain washed. I'd change my religion if I was you
wrong again, iv spoken to kurds personally while I served, brainwashed usually is a condition attributed to watching to much t.v. and news.

I'm afraid that would be you, I dont watch or listen to national news.

They tend to make monkeys of those who do.

Oh I see now, so all those Isis savages with their black flags are a movie set made up by Speilberg.
Then again, I wouldn't watch or listen to the news if I was muslim either, I'd be ashamed.
actually the US goverment had a cinematic production agency run by the then War department.

Movies are one of wars greastest tools in that they sway perception and opinion.

We call it propaganda.

But still not one single bit of criticism towards the mindless savages that bring shame on your religion.
Catholics have been having sex with boys for thousands of years.

I dont critisize people who are on their land.

If China installed a puppet regime in America, id think youd want to remove their head, unfortunately yours is already removed.

Talking about having sex with kids, you mean like the prophet Mohamad.
I wouldn't criticise anyone on their own land either but I would criticise anyone who thought beheading inocent people was the answer.
Oh and one more thing, no matter what anyone did to me I wouldn't dream of removing their heads.
You are a savage the same as Isis and you have well and truly shown your real beliefs on this topic.
name calling and insults are irrelivent and go contrary to mingle2 rules.

Finally, you are in no position to speak in regards to a religion or the events in Iraq, you clearly are just quoting your news outlets, hardly a source for truth.

What's the matter, has a few home truths hurt, touched a nerve has it.

If indeed you have posted anything truthful, you wouldnt have the need to resort to name calling and insults.

Adults with truth on their side have little need for juvinile posts.

Besides, you havent said anything fox hasnt already said, and id say fox along with the rest of the media have made a monkey out of its audiance.

You are obviously stupid as well as ignorant.
Read you posts back and you will see that it was you who first mentioned catholics having sex with boys.
That's where the insults began, so now who's the juvenile.
According to a well documented historical facts, the Catholic church has a well documented history of pedophilis dateing back to Pope Pius. This a historical fact.

And i doubt you will prove contrary.

As for truth, you have yet to post anything factual.

So in essence, my post wasnt an insult, but a mere historical fact.

It's not up to me to post anything contrary, it's up to you to prove it.
Oh and by the way, all my posts about Isis being savages are fact
There are presently thousands of outstanding cases of lawsuits against nuns, priests and clergy in the US alone. According the CWS of various US states, the Catholic church here and abroad has implemented new statues and guidlines in their code of ethics in hopes of preventing more cases of child molestation within the church.

Perhaps you are just in denial or perhaps a victim, denial usually is a responce of the victim.

No sorry, as much as you're perverted I'm not a victim.
While it may be true that there are certain catholics who have done bad thing at least we are not in denial of it, and are trying to learn from mistakes, unlike you lot.

Now let me go back to my school days and try to get my facts rights, was it a young girl by the name of Aisha ( If I remember correctly)
who married the prophet mohamed, and her age was, 7 or 8.
Sounds a bit like the kettle and the pot if you ask me

its probably because as a vet who actually served, I have an idea outside of your force fed media to understand that there is no isis...

Oh..."there is no isis".

Somebody needs to send them a video - and a video link - informing them that "there is no isis"; The ISIS (or ISIL) (or IS, as they prefer to call themselves, now...as they are speaking - and acting - for ALL Muslims, yourself included)

needs to know that they don't exist, because YOU say so.

I'm sure they will immediately cease and desist, upon receiving word of your decree.

"ISIS stands for the 'Islamic State in Iraq and Syria,' a designation that could indicate the best way to combat the group is to take them on militarily in both of those countries. ISIL stands for the 'Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.' The Levant is a larger area of the Middle East that actually includes Lebanon and Jordan in addition to Syria. But since the Obama administration has shown much more willingness to attack ISIS in Iraq than they have to attack them in Syria, they seem to have decided it is in their best interest to leave the 'S' out of the name...

"...As of June, the group has taken to calling itself 'IS' or simply the 'Islamic State,' with ambitions of becoming a much more widespread caliphate across more of the Middle East than only Iraq, Syria and the Levant..."

And, you haven't posted one single citation to the source of where YOUR "truth" is derived, let alone to a legitimate source,

meaning the source of YOUR information - which, according to you is "the truth" and ergo indisputable

comes from your own head.

So, you are, in fact, Allah come to earth in a *man*ly form...hence no citation CAN nor SHOULD be proffered to us lesser beings?

isis who? I served three tours in iraq, never heard of them.

Perhaps more familiar under an earlier name.

The group originated asJama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad in 1999. This group was the forerunner of Tanzim Qaidat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn—commonly known as al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). It took part in the Iraqi insurgency against American-led forces and their Iraqi allies following the 2003 invasion of Iraq and joined other Sunni insurgent groups to form the Mujahideen Shura Council, which consolidated further into the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) shortly afterwards. At its height it enjoyed a significant presence in Al Anbar, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and other areas, but around 2008, its violent methods led to a backlash against it and temporary decline.

In April 2013, the group changed its name to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. It grew significantly under the leadership of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, gaining support in Iraq as a result of perceived economic and political discrimination against Iraqi Sunnis.[citation needed] After entering the Syrian Civil War, it established a large presence in the Syrian governorates of Ar-Raqqah, Idlib, Deir ez-Zor and Aleppo.[36] In June 2014, it had at least 4,000 fighters in its ranks in Iraq,[37] and the CIA estimated in September 2014 that it had 20,000–31,500 fighters in Iraq and Syria.[22] It had close links to al-Qaeda until February 2014 when, after an eight-month power struggle, al-Qaeda cut all ties with the group, reportedly for its brutality and "notorious intractability.

.................

Never could understand why someone who seems to hate a country stays in that country.

Now, if as they have stated these 'insurgents' represent the interests of Muslims everywhere why have Muslim nations declared them terrorists, why are Muslim nations taking part in attacking them?

Why do Muslims around the world decry the actions of IS if they 'represent all Muslims'? There is a Twitter response from Muslims regarding IS .... #notinmyname That seems to be a clear response.

The side of truth, which is greater than alligiance to ones nation.

Truth is the first casualty of war. Harder to find than a virgin in a bordello.

The insurgents are attempting to remove the goverment Bush installed.

By placing two nations under their heel?

They are terrorists plain and simple. There is a solution to terrorists however.

Now I'm going to get some Zzzzzzzzzz had a long 13 hour shift.

Now that America is sending 4000 troops to try and help with ebola, I'd like to know where all the America haters are.

They're qick enough to come out the woodwork when America messes up so where are they now with a bit of credit.
I may have missed it but I've heard nothing from Russia and China or is a case of believe what you want to believe.

I'd like to hear what some of the critics of the USA on here have to say.
I'm not even American but it winds me right up.

You wanted America haters and you got one .......... oddly enough an American.

You can't love America, believe in its founding documents, rights, freedom and liberty, and what it all stands for, and support our POTUS, his policies, or his admin....

It's an impossibility!

It's actually not bizarre since several have existed on this site for quite a while. You just floated one to the surface. Thanks for exposing the inner cracks and crevasses of the mindset. Many do not understand that such thinking exists nor the extreme nature of the basic concepts they use to justify their positions.

Sadly, many also do not understand the numbers that exist and what happens when they get together.

Absolutely and profoundly untrue.
America and the POTUS have my complete and devoted support,
for someone duly elected to the toughest job in the world.
With all given the right to heap daily abuse
upon those who have a job and are doing it well.

To which "founding documents" do you refer?

For instance, are you referring to The Constitution, which at its inception, only granted its rights to white, male, property owners

or The Constitution, which at its inception, allowed for Amendments to be added later on, so it could be a living, breathing, and ever-evolving edict of Who We Are?

The latter is The One that allows - for instance - women, blacks, and men who simply rent apartments to be afforded the same rights as white male home owners here in the U.S., too.

I respect and support ANY currently-seated POTUS, even if I personally didn't vote for him/her,

just as I respect and support the flag of the U.S. (another symbol of US and U.S.)

specifically because I DON'T hate my country...nor do I wish it any harm.

Our leader is also Commander in Chief of our military and shamefully little is being done to fight ISIL, the worst of the American Haters. Many of his recent actions actually appear to encourage them.

for security reasons, we as the public can never truly know all that is 'being done' on the matter of international relations and safety

on topic though, HATE and LOVE are both strong words for strong emotions

I think people often confuse support for 'love' and disagreement for 'hate'
