I am volunteering for a halloween carnival sponsored by my church and the volunteers dress up. We are not allowed to be scary. I want a costume that will not take a lot of time to make or put on. I do not like store bought costumes. I want something creative, but inexpensive, something that will flatter my body, but not be seductive for respect of my church and the kids. Can you help me with some ideas, keeping in mind that I will be active: bending over, squatting, chasing objects, etc?

Why not just ask the kids about their favorite cartoons and they might give you an idea?

how about lady godiva. i guarantee i guarantee that if you don't get a horse, the rest of the costume is free (bulldog double guarantee - patent pending)

Thank you Blondey! I went with the scarecrow costume! It was super easy and quick, and I was able to work the booth at the carnival!

I am sure you put lots of smiles on the kiddies faces. Hope you had a wonderful time :-) I had a great time! Not very many people recognized me at church. It was funny. I was asked if I did my own makeup also!
