We've had a scary movie topic and since the holidays are coming up, I was just wondering if anyone has any favorite, must-see every year Christmas movies. My must see Christmas movies are Love Actually and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. But I do love me some Home Alone at times.

Yup, yup...with you on 'Love, Actually' and 'Christmas Vacation'. Also, 'Home for the Holidays' is another must-see, every year.

a christmas story,,, you'll shoot your eye out,,, a white christmas, classic, great movie and the stars,,, it's a wonderful life, not originally made for the holidays. miracle on 34th street, yes there is a santa claus,,, so many others, too many to mention, but all touch the heart...

Holiday Inn - Fred and Bing Jingle All The Way (but only because a friend of mine is in it.) A Christmas Carol - with Alistair Sim 1951 Scrooged How The Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) Three Godfathers (1948) John Ford and Christmas! And a few others mentioned. Plus The Three Stooges in Wee Wee Monsieur from 1938.

A Christmas Story- Yeah...I watch it once or twice during the whole 24 hours of it thingy. Die Hard- I know it isn't a Christmas movie but I have to watch it during the holidays.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Its a wonderful life Christmas vacation Classic Christmas cartoons ex. Rudolph the red nose reindeer... Christmas with the Kranks The Santa Claus Little house on the Prairie Christmas episodes.. (there are a few) Jack Frost with Michael Keaton .. so many more!!!!

my favorite will always be National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.i'll end up watching it 3-4 times during the holidays

I'm not that into Xmas movies. I used to watch A Christmas Story because it was the old GF's favorite Xmas movie.

My favourite is A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sims Also like Elf Scrooged Deck the Halls Jack Frost Christmas With The Kranks Oh...oh and Love Actually!

There are a lot of movies that you all have mentioned that I have forgotten about. Another one of my favs that I forgot to mention is Nightmare Before Christmas.

I was just thinking about this ...this morn I have many old and new Christmas movies I love ... but I believe what makes me feel young again is the Narration by Burl Ives in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer(as Sam The Snowman) his voice is timeless ... so makes me feel like I am watching or hearing for the first time... ever since I was little ...

I can't believe I forgot Alvin and the Chipmunks: A Chipmunk Christmas. I used to have it as an album but got the DVD a few years ago.
