And so she remembered..
She was in a church, praying. And crying. It seemed to her she can feel all the pain of the world in her heart. When she was going out, on the steps of the church there was a begger. She didn�t even look at him, just gave him a coin, going away. He began to explain that he works, collecting iron, but has a brother with bad leg, pointing on him. She, so sad, only waved her hand, that he doesn�t have to explain anything. All of a sudden he got angry and, still on his knees, stretched out his hand with the coin and yelled: "��So why did you give it to me?" She turned, looked at him and said: "��Because of love." He didn�t expect that -�� neither she did, the words itself came to her lips. He looked at her searchingly: "��You are sad."�� And at that moment she understood he was the same as she was. In her heart she felt that the tall, dirty homeless man, with long greasy white hair, deformed hands, full of sores, kneeling on the steps, waiting for somebody to give him a coin with contempt, is really her brother. And her second, inner self. Hasn�t she been full of wounds and sores, could she say that her soul was clean as snow? Hasn�t she begged so many times, for anything, at least in her spirit, yearning for something? Hasn�t she been reliant on help of others before? Wasn�t she also homeless without the place where she belongs? And can�t she tomorrow be just the same homeless as he was? It is so simple. Wasn�t she a God begger, just as him, even if they didn�t beg the same way and for the same things? Suddenly she felt a desire to kneel on that steps and beg with him. They weren�t different. She just realised her previous hypocrisy, which she never saw efore, the way how she unconsciously was taking his human dignity from him. Even if only in spirit, within herself, although she was polite. Curtain fell, the truth hit her in the face. And she felt gratitude...
