Hmmm, how do you learn to trust after you have been lied to, cheated on and played? Do you give it time or do you just jump straight back in to the dating pool? What is your way....?

You give it as much time as you need.....
Jumping back in too early doesn't give you time to heal.....
Stepping back for a period and abstaining is a great way to reflect and reassess your priorities.....

I would not trust any but yourself. There is no guarantee that a man will honor your trust, so try not to be in that position too much and keep your independence. If a guy doesn't respect your independence then ignore that guy, he is not to be trusted anyway. Otherwise you will be back in the same position you are now pretty often, and you should be with a guy who genuinely wants your happiness to come first. That is what I have learned from experience, the wrong kind of guys are plenty but not worth it.

I have been there and for myself I waited awhile so I could regroup and not take it with me when I met someone else. I did not want to blame a new woman for what I went through in the past and to be honest it worked for me.
