Topic: Bratty Wild Cat | |

I've had pets my entire life, especially cats. I'm very familiar with how to handle them, however I have this 5 month old kitten right now and he gets very wild. He has a bit of a temper on him. When he gets on the counter or into the trash, I pick him up and move him away, he gets mad and attacks me and yells at me. He doesn't care about getting wet, so spraying him doesn't work.
He can be very affectionate on the other hand though and very friendly. It's just that he can get to be a brat and sometimes get these wild episodes, I'm not sure if he's playing or really trying to attack at times. I've never had a cat that would act like this before and nothing really seems to help. Has anyone ever had a cat like this? |

I figured out what was going on. My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, and I guess he was just getting "frisky". I let him out and he chased some tail and did a little fighting. He came back with a few little nicks from fighting. I just gave him some food, cleaned him up. Now he's in house cat mode. lol

Sounds like my cat. His father was the same way. The mother was a feral cat that was untamed, would run from people, but had no problem with letting people feed her. lol
