Who cares what they believe? It's not their cake.

Damn right it's their cake, their creation too, like a canvas of an artist

THEY decides what goes on the cake

Nonsense and more nonsense..and I am not even pro gay or anti gay for that matter, but I can defend them on this one. I don't agree with the gay marriage thing or the gays having children thing...personally I find it somehow wrong yet I can't really justify my feeling so I just stay out of the matter until I understand more. But they should be able to buy a cake, this is not Nazi Germany is it?

Nazi Germany would be the government forcing businesses to do something

I wouldn't expect a black baker to make a cake promoting white supremacy

Forcing people to go against beliefs violates the 1st amendment in this country

good idea, you don't seem to understand rights in the US... gays are not the only people with rights here... gays don't get that either

There is really no point in talking to some people

... especially when they don't understand freedom of religion and freedom to not participate in an activity that violates religious beliefs.

Gays have been oppressed for centuries and now they are having their moment. Anti gays are really angry about it. I don't understand what anti gays have against them. Explain yourselves.

It is truly sad you are so unaware of what your own Constitution states about rights vs privilege.

They have a right to a cake, no problem, but they do not have the right to force a bakery, with a religious belief opposed to their choice and feeling it against their religious convictions, to make it for them.

It is simply inciting conflict rather than seeking to have it done elsewhere.

Everything about the act spells a setup to make an invalid point and force coercion by authority for which there is NO Constitutional grounds.

The video shows 13 gay bakeries flat out refusing to make a cake stating "Gay marriage is wrong", but one bakery refuses to make a cake stating "Support gay marriage" and it's a court case and suit.

Equal rights goes both ways!

I'm agnostic, but MY Constitution says religious freedom is guaranteed and your beliefs are part of that equation......PERIOD!

I toss a customer out the door every week

Why?

Because they come in here guns blazing telling us what we're gonna do for them. Truth is, we have our methods, the methods work so we stick to them no matter how much money the customer slaps us in the face with.

They can be super demanding all they want, we don't need to cater to any of it if it's not in the businesses best interest, take that to the bank!

America or not... We all have choices!

Gays do not get treated well. I can go into any cake shop and I will never have a problem because I'm not gay. Imagine it's not only cake shops that discriminate against gays. Imagine how hard it would be to be gay in a world like this? Wouldn't you become straight if you could (if you were gay)? They can't. Many of them commit suicide because of the stupid bullies.

What part of "choice" do you not understand? The part about the consequences of that choice?

Did you read the op? How about bakeries refusing to make gay marriage is wrong cakes? Guess straight people were being discriminated?

They ALL have that right. It is their belief. Why should anyone be forced against their belief? Explain yourself

is that the only bakery in town? there is no other place around for them to get a penis cake? every grocery store here bakes custom cakes, but not ones in sexual nature... is that not good enough? is forcing someone to not abide by their beliefs more important than just going to a bakery that doesn't care? it's not for me or you to tell other people whats right or wrong, other people have their ideas of right and wrong...
