i have this problem if i don't have some kind of clue already that the person is interested or if i don't have an obvious excuse.

look at her interests and try to talk about them
does she like camping and you love it also? how about movies? music interests? does she love to go on vacation and her pics show her in Florida and you have been there? talk about that does she like to bike ride or is she a parent you can use that as common ground when you first speak to her make it obvious that you have indeed read her profile and paid attention |

I can always start a conversation. It's the keeping it going after I've broken some sort of ice with which I have a problem. Seems I go from amazing to boring in about 2.31 seconds and have run out of conversational topics in about 1.87 seconds.

What has proven to work well is to comment in the forums and respond to someone else's comment. You have a topic to discuss. Take it from there.

I can always start a conversation. It's the keeping it going after I've broken some sort of ice with which I have a problem. Seems I go from amazing to boring in about 2.31 seconds and have run out of conversational topics in about 1.87 seconds. . I thought it was me as well... but then I realized I'm always the one starting and breaking the ice.... in conversations..... it seems when I run out of things to say the conversation ends.... forget that why do I always have to be the interesting one.... ... the best conversations I've ever had.. were with somebody as interesting as myself... |

Yes.. I am interesting..lol.. you're not too far from the truth.. I've had some of my best conversations in my truck alone..lol..
... A conversation takes two people.. who are both equally.. interesting.. . and can articulate themselves.. ... nothing worse than pryin information from someone... . are you know when someone's going to say something really dumb.. . and you sit there in your mind saying.. no !no don't say it !god no please don't say it... and sure enough they say it.. . |
