I knew he would have gotten legal papers
then his mom died and in the unrest and unhappiness and tears and relatives that once loved eachother
now fighting over the leftovers like a turkey carcass
so much grief
he was driving and I saw a truck almost hit us and said: "WATCH OUT FOR THE TRUCK!" And all his kindness turned to hate
just like his bitterness to his ex wife
you think you know it all! And other words tearing apart at the seams all of the hopes and dreams
I did not break away from my ex's anger to embrace his problems
though wanted to embrace him
sp let's make a baby he says
and now ignores the phone
I am alone
with my hopes and dreams
he knows I will never push him for child support, have always taken care of my kids
and if he does not want me
why bring a bay into that hell
too
so watch out my lovely sisters if anyone holds you so close
and nuzzles your ears and kneck and whispers of hopes and dreams and says
let's make a baby together, should we?
think well and be prepared to love that child
and love yourself too
