How do you see the age thing...when it comes to relationship?

As long as they are consenting adults, I don't care.

But the age gap doesn't necessarily mean sugar daddy/momma. That's more of a money thing

How do you see the age thing...when it comes to relationship?

My first husband was 24 years older than me. We had a wonderful marriage....

Age doesn't really matter if the compatibility is there.

I never looked at him as a sugar daddy

How do you see the age thing...when it comes to relationship?

In my experience there are 2 types of sugarparents/sugarchildren.

1. Those that know they are sugar mama's, daddies, babies.

2. Those that don't know they are sugar mama's, daddies, babies.

Other than that, people see the "age thing" however they rationalize it.

Some don't pay it much attention, having come to truly consciously believe "age is just a number."

Some think it's gross but needs must when the devil drives.

Some people don't look their age so it's not an issue.

Some people are so delusional about who they are that the age disparity validates their image. (e.g. kid thinks they are an adult, being in a relationship with an adult proves they are capable of being in adult relationship, which means they are an adult if the relationship lasts for any length of time, even though it's really based on "sugar.")

Some don't care about age at all. Sometimes for the reason that their self esteem is so low and they are so internalized on how bad or worthless they are that they don't really see the other person at all.

There's an infinite number of ways to see the "age thing."
I think for the most part in "sugar" relationships it's seen in ways that facilitate continuing the relationship for as long as it's useful and productive in benefits.

I don't think a lot of people in sugar relationships sit there and pick apart their relationship.
If they did, then it would most likely kill the relationship and/or create a lot of dissonance, ending the sugar and benefits.

So, IMO how do people in "sugar" relationships see the age thing?
As something to get over, as something that proves their image, or as something that justifies the relationship.
