I'm a moderator on another site. Sometimes, if I take a notion and haven't gotten anything else better to do, I sit down and start going through profiles. Men and women. I hate to admit it about my own gender. But the greatest majority of pictures that I delete are men. Not counting shirtless pics. Just the guys holding their boner in their hand. In a one hour sitting, I have deleted over 100 obscene pictures that men post. Out of every 100 nasty pictures that men post on dating sites, I may come across 3 or 4 that women post.


Me thinks folks should lighten up about slut women on dating sites. From where I sit, Men got that covered. Well, More like "Uncovered"

It's already been stated, but worth repeating. You don't have to look at others profile pictures. To each their own, to attract or detract what works for the person.


Also on a side note....the Scooby picture gets me more views than my actual picture, but I do have my face shown with my other photos! Not all of us can quantify or qualify being one of the so called " beautiful people."

Based on my online dating experience (about 2 years) revealing pics (cleavage/bikini/strategically placed bedding) is nothing more than 'advertising'.

Whether we admit it or not, our pics were meant to display to others what YOU think they are getting when they date you. I for example could have posted bare chested pics, but decided it might be more fun if you discovered that for yourself after we met.

Same with pics that might display your um, 'package'. Again same theory applies. If I stick it out there for the world to see am I getting a response because you want to get to know me or just **** me?

It sounds inconsistent with the content of my post, but I actually appreciate revealing pics, only insofar as they help me to be honest about how attracted I might be to someone.

I make no apologies for having certain characteristics that I might look for physically in a woman. No matter how wonderful a person she may be, I know if there is no physical chemistry there, it won't work.

People do what people do. And of course the old adage of "each to their own". If shirtless pics and so called "slutty" pics are all they have on their profile, then I might think twice about messaging or replying to a message. I was talking to this guy who constantly sent me shirtless selfies so I asked if he ever wore a shirt and he told me not very often. So there you go, maybe those shirtless men also have a shirt aversion.
As for my main pic, I happen to think my dog is cuter than I can ever be.

Exactly I know for years I have had one time a bikini shot on my profile for about 24 hours only because I lost a bet. years ago.. I personally didn't like the attention I received but had no one to blame but me.

I also have kept my pictures of me as real as I can get. I have head shots but I have two body shots that is enough. I have some that have a bit of make up on but the most don't. I am not going to be wearing make up first thing in the am or when I am out doing yard work. So let the poor guy know what he is getting.

That brings up the pictures of people that have to have these airbrushed pics.. Really I get a bit snarky by the revealing shots since most of the revealing pictures show the flaws of said person.


Comes down to it if you don't want to see it don't look pass them by

Most women who are looking for a serious relationship, they'll pass on a profile with a topless man.
Now most men, if they saw a bikini or lingerie pic they liked, whether they're looking for a relationship or not, will be drawn and most likely will message the girl.
Most women don't think like men, which is why the vast majority of porn, is geared to and consumed by men.

Yep, This is true. I believe this is why we have so many men posting pecker pictures. Too much porn = screwed up mind.

Bravo: That is why all my pictures involve the outdoors or getting in shape for the outdoors, the helicopter photo is at the end of a three hour flight to hunting camp, complete with my camo clothes and rifle....want no city girl

I guess I find it alright. When I was a teenager, I fancied a member of a boy band. I didn't complain when there were posters of them with their tops off. And I sure as hell aren't complaining about it NOW, either.
