Surprised you are not making friends. There seems to be all kinds of groups and special interests represented here. Lots of Single parents and even grandparents. And many care givers and professional nurses.

Once you post a few times I some of the forums people will warm up.

If you are interested in children issues just pick one and open a topic on it. You have a bit of a time difference from most American posters but if you check back to your topic if someone asks a question of posts sometimes responding makes them eager to post again.
