Right now there is a woman that is bugging me to death. I told her over a month ago that it was over. I didn't want to see her anymore. I blocked her text to me. But I can't block her phone calls. This is one of the reasons you have to be careful who you give your number to. Some people just will not go away.

I've been following this thread since I started it. Maybe for some of you, you were able to block or otherwise get rid of the person, or persons that were calling you. It doesn't work that way for everyone.

All it takes is one piece of info to ruin your life. It could be a cell or LL number. Your SS number, any number of things. Right now I have this crazy woman that doesn't know the meaning of no. Yes, I could change my number. But I have a lot of contacts in my phone. I would have to let a LOT of people know my number has been changed. Again, Some of you keep spouting about how easy it is to get rid of someone that will not stop calling you. It's not that easy for everyone.

And those of you who keep talking about, if you don't give your number out you don't get laid. With what I've been going through with this nut case, I seriously wonder if a piece of a$.$ was worth it. Maybe for those of you who are pu$%^ crazy.

Does the city you live in have a Police Dept?

In case you didn't know, there are laws against stalking.

Yes, Not one thing they can do. Being stalked can happen to anyone. When it's a woman that is being stalked, It seems to be handled differently than it is when it's a man. When it's a man it's laughed off. When it's a woman it's taken more seriously. At least to a point. She told me out of her own mouth that I could call the cops to her and all they would do is escort her off the property and tell her to leave.

She said that if I tried to get her locked up, well, they wouldn't lock her up for long. She would be out and right back at my doorstep. She was. If it was a man doing this he would be locked up in the county jail by now. But, since it's a woman with a mental condition, Well, It seems to be different. Stalker laws, depending on what state you are in, are not that great.

Your message caught my eye. The part about the English, I have been contacted by many, many men. Of all, I would say maybe 3-4 ( and that's stretching it) have not had this broken and mixed up English. I can tell from the first "hello dear" or "good morning pretty" I'm so frustrated with these. How do you handle those messages?

Then go to the media and name her publically, along with the do nothing police. Put it on record that she's stalking you. Then the next time she shows up, put a crossbow bolt through her eye.

All Problems solved.

No. EVERY creature, from the lowly amoeba, to homo sapiens, has a God given right to self defense.

I can think of three Men's Rights attorneys that would be dying to take a case like that...

Reading this the answer would be NO and hell no... I do give our my number and I do have the capacity to block a number and it is free and I have.
So far in all, the years I have only blocked maybe 3 numbers and that has been onlying females.
I also thank God I live in AK doesn't matter male or female stalking laws are the same.

I avoid people that list their cell phone number of a lot of other contact information in their profile. To me it seems like they are really desperate or scammers.
