People are reactionary. They have paradigms and they stick to them as long as they don't have a personal experience of something they don't believe in. And I am not trying to make you believe that there is something in some children that makes them talk about unknown and unlearned things. If you think its not reincarnation, then you should give another explanation.

My only potential theory would be the fact that I have heard that even as a developing unborn child, they are still learning, hearing and such and somewhere along the way they get these "flashbacks" of things that could have actually been something off a program that was being watched whilst in the womb. Sounds completely made up but its the closest thing I have to someone being born with premature knowing of things.

If you are serious to learn unexplained phenomena of nature, you have to keep your minds open to accept information. Later, you can decide if it had any truth in it.

There are numerous books and websites on reincarnation including videos of real time investigations by BBC. If you think these are all made up for money, I rest my case.

I assume most things are money motivated or publicity motivated (for money). What I will agree is that I am "reactionary" and have "paradigms" that I stick too. Dunno what you mean by these words and today I just can't be bothered to ask google lol

How will you explain the facts that children say to their parents about another city or state and take names of family members in their previous lives? Many of these have been verified and found to be true. If you are interested, you may read a book written by Dr. Ian Stevenson - Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation. If this book creates some interest in you on the subject, you can follow it up with his other books.

As I have said earlier, Dr. Ian Stevenson has selected 20 cases out of some 2500 cases he has investigated on children. These 20 cases have been thoroughly investigated against fowl play or money interest by children's families. The book was published with peer reviews.

Thank you sir flowerforyou

I've read many books and especially this Dr.
This is exactly what I was speaking about!

I dare anyone to read these books and give us a reasonable explanation how it CANNOT be true.

Reincarnation

Of course we are all reincarnated. Everyone knows that God was big on recycling... way ahead of his time.

A psychic named Gladys in 1976 told me I was the chief scientist in Atlantis. One day I arrogantly conducted an unauthorized experiment with crystals and mystic energies, which ended up causing the entire continent to sink. At the last moment I stopped the experiment, at the sacrifice of my own life, a situation somewhat like Spock separating the crystals inside the reactor at the end of Star Trek II if I understood her correctly. She said I have karma both good and bad in this lifetime, from that one.

I have to admit it would explain a lot. As a child I was indeed intellectually gifted, learning came effortlessly. But when I hit puberty, at age 17, from then on everything I tried failed, nothing ever went right, I got outcompeted at every turn, every course I set out on collapsed for reasons beyond my control or understanding. The sort of thing I caused to happen to my two billion or so victims the last time around.

Thus my life has been hell mostly, except, I did have a strangely compatible marriage, to a fellow geek-before-her-time --we were mutually enabling narcissists, kind of snuggling together in our own private world. Probably the best chemistry a couple can possibly have. I've learned to keep my head down. I'm overly cautious: I overbuild, overrepair, am an extremely safe defensive driver. But I also have a strange kind of flippant rescuer personality.

Another psychic, a famous one, Keith Milton Rhinehart, told me that mastery overcomes karma, and that I have the ability to master in this lifetime. That was in about 1977. Mastery being defined as, the achievement of conscious immortality including both magical powers e.g. teleportation and mind reading, as well as full remembrance of lifetimes past. Afraid I have some major league shock and horror and grief to work through before I can achieve that.

Okay,I was never a believer in reincarnation until about 5-6 years ago. My girlfriend at the time was a Latina,my first in my life. I'm white, the first in her life. We truly had nothing in common but were highly compatible and we were together for 7 years. Never having given it much thought previously,I told her early on in the relationship that I felt we had not only met before, but that I thought we were romantically involved somewhere at some time. To add to this, this girl was 10 years younger than me and absolutely gorgeous, but for a period of about 6 months I was constantly finding pictures, photos, books, magazines, videos,of Audrey Hepburn. My girlfriend did somewhat look like her,but now I'm left wondering, what's the connection?? When I say constantly finding I mean 1 to 2 maybe 3 times a week I would come across Audrey Hepburn. I'm glad it's her because she is stunning, classy, popular, and I do believe that there is a connection between myself,my ex girlfriend, and Audrey Hepburn. Does that sound crazy or maybe I'm on to something? I feel crazy writing it but there it is there

Some decades ago I met a girl after she replied to my personal ad.
On seeing her for the very first time from a fair distance, before we actually even met, (she was still a silhouette in the distance) I felt that I already knew her and that we had already had had a life together, and that we were both wasting our time.

I never felt that 'feeling' before or since. We dated for several weeks because we were both lonely, and sort of attracted, but it never felt right, and I still felt I was wasting my time - nothing was new and exciting, it was like a dull boring de ja vu. It was hard to break up with her and she took it badly, but I think we both knew it didn't feel right, like it should.

Also:
From being a child till now, I have always had interests in certain subjects and had no reason why, (no one else was interested in them at all), like the occult and religions for instance, farming and rural life, and many other things.

Years later (recently) learning about my family tree and family histories I found so many of my interests were the occupations of my forbears. I had no idea until I researched both sides of the family trees. It was uncanny.
One family tree is incomplete and a bit mysterious several generations ago; something happened that the old family covered up by omission.
I wonder ?

Still not sure if the Akashic Record is real or not. Thoughts and actions are energies that set up radiations of harmonics through matter and space. Energy can not be destroyed, only changed state. So harmonic variations of records of everything that ever was still exist somewhere, some how. what

I agree this world is gradually becoming more and more disorderly...which is again similar to the concept of entropy in thermodynamics, that disorder can only increase in an isolated system.

But, my question is, why is the science fraternity not willing to accept it as a phenomenon and going ahead understanding it?

science can not rock the boat
say 100 years back , we where the only life form thought to be in the eyes of science

say 50 years back , there may be life out there in the eyes of science

now a days , most people will tell you that yes there is life out there
now weather its smart or not is another que all together

but again keep in mind that it all depends on where you live to what you think (gotten bigger now since the net) but there are a lot of area's, still on this big ball of mud that believe things that others do not

hi to all,

does anyone believe in telepathy? Actually I have been experiencing this strange thing for the past few years and wanted to talk about it to people who believes it. I normally didn't believe myself on all these and had a normal life until I came to know that some is reading my mind. I tried avoiding it and went to prayers constantly. I am a common person and don't have anything so special that in which they might be interested in. Personally I do not want my life to be shared with these kind of people and have been in my hating list. But I am not sure if they do understand it or not.
U guys believe in it? For me its real.

It seems Reincarnation explains phenomena like Homosexuality, Birth Marks, Unusual Phobias in children, Exceptional Talents in people and some other attributes that science hasn't yet explained.

So, what's your understanding on Reincarnation? Why do we come to life again and again?

i still think a lot of are memory is wiped out of us by are parents
cause a lot of kids remember names , area's , places , etc etc etc that they could have no idea about

i have thought about this many times before

why do we come back
cause we didn't learn the first time
cause we want to experiance life again
cause its fun
the list goes on and on

and yes i agree it does explain a lot but all so leaves a lot of unanswered as well

it runs along those lines of the Que. " why am i here? "

lol here is another off the wall thought for you
you know how bad the world is and all the unthinkable's going on this ball of mud
what if we are all ready in hell and we are working are way out of it ? : )

its not uncommen
science is more of a we can do it over and over again to get the same outcome , there forth makes it fact (in there eyes)
since many dont remember there past lives (or joke at it for that matter) how would you go about proving it

I agree with you but the science fraternity refutes the phenomenon itself. They don't seem to acknowledge the evidence what some scientists have gathered till now.

My point is..if you cannot prove or understand something, just don't turn your face away from it and ignore its existence. One needs to endeavor understanding it till you can prove it.

Very good point.

I absolutely believe in reincarnation.
I also believe that when an entity evolves to a certain level, they can step off the wheel, so to speak.

I do not believe that will happen for humans on this planet for many thousands, if not millions of years, and we will have very different forms as our Evolution is set up in levels that correspond with the chakras and also with milestones in development that occur when we enter certain transformation zones in our revolution around the Milky Way, as well as many other transformational energies as we enter the Age of Aquarius, among other thing.
The next revolution around the Milky Way will effect the 7th or Crown chakra.

Also as Einstein said "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed."
It can only be transformed.

Einstein was ahead of his time. He was a forerunner of conciousness and of the times ahead. He also believed in reincarnation

a figment of a very good imagination, when you don't believe in GOD, made up by man to console man who don't believe in GOD> MAN MADE idea, never ever, ever ever proven

When people talk about reincarnation, I assume they mean that they (or their soul) has lived previous lives, and has unconscious memories of those previous lives.

Unfortunately I find this concept very unlikely. Certainly under hypnosis, people have recounted having lived before and given great details about their lives. However, many of these people claim to have been kings or queens, etc. No one ever seems to remember being a serf in the Middle Ages. The problem is is that when they do provide useful details that could prove their story, they don't. This is because under hypnosis, people can make up and imagine all kinds of things, and believe their recollections to be true (eg. shown a video of a traffic accident, under hypnosis subjects will recall the licence plate numbers of the vehicles, even though those were never visible in the video).

A few people also claim to remember their past lives. Again, memory details are a problem, particularly if the person had access to information on the person they claim to be. eg. a person in their village who recently died, but friends and family are still alive, and could have provided information about them.

I'll believe in reincarnation when a 1 year old can remember how to read/write/speak in an ancient language that they couldn't have been taught, eg. Ancient Greek, Middle English, etc. Why can people claim to remember incidents of past lives, but not how to communicate in the language they would have used then?
