Ladies, I want your opinion on this:

My thoughts on serious relationships

1. First and foremost, trust. Without trust from both the relationship will not last.
2. Communication is a must from both parties. Without communication you cannot have a great relationship. Never argue or fight, talk to each other in a calm voice and never go to bed mad or upset.
3. Respect; you must respect each other for who they are and not try to change them.
4. Romance; without romance the relationship will fall apart. Leave little notes laying around for each other letting them know you care about them; leave a gift for them once in a while. Text each other or call them and tell them how much they mean to you. Fix meals together some times and cook for each other sometimes. Don’t forget to put flowers and candles on the table every once in a while. And don’t forget the wine if both like it once in a while. Fix her a bubble bath once in a while, set some candles out. Remember to hold hands often, open doors for her, flirt with her at home and in public. Give her massages when she wants one, you don’t have to be an expert, just trying means allot. Tell her how beautiful she is. Kisses; sneak up behind her and give her light kisses on neck.
5. Laughter is good for the soul and heart. Do silly little things to make each other laugh.
6. Don’t have sex, make love to her. There is a big difference between the two.
7. Say “I love you” to each other often. Tell each other how special they are.
8. Do chores together and make it fun.
9. Do things together even things that you may not enjoy doing as it will mean allot to her. You might find out you enjoy it. Guys, while she is trying on clothes in the store, hold her purse for her, it doesn’t hurt at all.
10. Cuddle up on the couch and watch a move together.
11. Be sensitive to each other’s needs. Be there for each other when needed. Offer your shoulder for the other to cry on and take care of each other when sick.
12. Take a ride to the lake/river or down a country road and enjoy the scenery, sit next to each other.
13. Men, if you’ll are watching a good movie and she gets teary eyed, it’s ok to do the same. It shows you have a sensitive side.
14. Never lie to each other and always be honest with each other.
15. Ladies, if you want your partner to please you when making love, tell him exactly what it is that you really like. Couples should be able to talk to each other about anything.
16. Remember, it takes both to make a relationship work. Both much give 100%.

Thumbs up! thats what I am searching here, hopefully to meet one sooner and not scammers lol!
There is no perfect relationship or marriage. But, if both of you genuinely love each other, everything will go smoothly and for sure it will last longer or maybe forever. Thx for sharing!

1. First and foremost, trust. Without trust from both the relationship will not last.

That's kinda vague.
"Trust" is a highly subjective and fluid concept.

Other than that, I agree, distrust is a surefire way to kill any relationship.
I don't believe it's all or nothing, where you either trust someone completely, or don't.

2. Communication is a must from both parties.

Communication is a constant from every human being on the face of the planet.
It's just not always clear, understood, or direct, since so much of it relies on something other than what dribbles from the mouth or fingers.

I mean
Never argue or fight

Some people fight and argue, that's how they communicate. They are communicating their emotions at the same time as whatever information they are trying to convey.

Respect; you must respect each other for who they are and not try to change them.

What if they become drug addicts? Or alcoholics? Or gain an unhealthy amount of weight? Or start overspending, amassing credit card debt? Or enjoy being unemployed rather than employed? Or they're too proud or scared to go to the doctor? What if they refuse to buy health insurance out of a desire to buck the Obamasystem?

Romance; without romance the relationship will fall apart. Leave little notes laying around for each other letting them know you care about them

How is this different than communication?

Laughter is good for the soul and heart. Do silly little things to make each other laugh.

What if the other person doesn't have that great of a sense of humor?
Let's say the same old silly jokes start getting old and annoying?

Don't have sex, make love to her. There is a big difference between the two.

What if she/he doesn't know the difference, or doesn't believe there is one?
What if one of the people WANT to just have sex?
If one person refuses to have sex, as opposed to making love, does that interfere with the whole "respect" thing?

Say "I love you" to each other often. Tell each other how special they are.

What happens when it's repeated so much that it loses meaning?

Do chores together and make it fun.

What happens when you just need to get it done and the other person keeps doing silly little things to try and make you laugh?

Do things together even things that you may not enjoy doing as it will mean allot to her.

What happened to "respect" and "don't try to change" someone?
Guess that goes out the window in the face of what she wants, or shopping?

10. Cuddle up on the couch and watch a move together.

What about when they're sick and have diarrhea and you're trying to stay healthy so you don't miss any work in order to try and get that promotion so you can buy the nicer house so you have room for the kid you want to try to have?

Take a ride to the lake/river or down a country road and enjoy the scenery, sit next to each other.

Is this brought to you by "RV" magazine?

Men, if y'all are watching a good movie and she gets teary eyed, it's ok to do the same. It shows you have a sensitive side.

What if the guy doesn't feel teary eyed? What if she's getting teary eyed and he finds it absolutely hysterical and wants to laugh?

Never lie to each other and always be honest with each other.

What happens when one person is just simply the type of person that holds things inside and says "I'm fine."
Then what?
They've lied.
But trying to drag it out of them is disrespecting them, trying to change who they are into someone that doesn't internalize or hold things in.

Remember, it takes both to make a relationship work

IMO this is like saying "remember, it takes pie ingredients to make a pie work."
I agree, it takes two people to make a two person romantic relationship work.
