Hi Stewart welcome to Mingle
Honestly both picture are pretty far away to make an accurate opinion
But I do think you could pull off either look
Go for what you like and I am sure that special lady isn't going to care..

If she does then she isn't the one
Best wishes in your search

Hi Stuart, went through the whole facial hair Q myself and I would give you my perspective if you like.
If you go for facial hair try a full trimmed beard(as your Goatee length) or just stick with the goatee as is, if you are going for a more distinguished look.
If you want to purposely look a little younger, shave completely.
I would give the 'tash a miss, you can pull it off, but I see it more as sitting on the fence :-) But maybe that's just because it makes me look a bit suspect !!
I shaved for the first time in 6 years, last week. Felt weird, took 10y off me but laziness took over and its back, and so is me looking my age :-)
Best of luck whichever way you go, Frank.

Myself both ways works..... to me as long as it is keep up and trimmed all is good.. I do prefer guys that have a mustache and up to them if they want more then that... As I said as long as they are keep up then it will always look good...

The way I see it do what you like and makes you feel good.. If they don't like it then maybe they are not the one for you.. whoa

Clarify what you mean by soup strainers?? If you are talking about a beard that is out of whack and can't tell that it has been trimmed in 10 years then yes those are out for me..

also sometimes as a food storage device

usually though the soup strainer is a mustache so long that soup needs to go though it to reach the mouthnoway

Yes.. it is a good question especially when it all comes in white.. my boys say it makes me look old.. but some women say they like it.. personally I find I spend too much time fingering it...... the goatee of course..slaphead

I like the goatee, it gives you character. I do not like the moustache.
Have you a pic with neither?

Personally, I love the way facial hair feels under my nails as I stroke or lightly scratch a man's face.. Feels like multiple pin sticks under my nails..

Whatever you feel at your best, Stewart, is what you should do...

Welcome to Mingle...
