Let's assume that they're absolutely super in just about every other way but they smell a bit like rotten cabbages or something.

Well lets see is this a medical condition?
Is this because of poor hygiene and he isn't aware of it?
Would he be receptive to the knowledge?
Would he be able to change this?

If he wouldn't be receptive or willing to change the issue probably not for long anyway....

This is actually a good question, I mean if everything is ok about the person except the smell, would that be a dealbreaker?
I'm almost sure it would be a put off to me, i can't help it. I am one of those who can be very attracted to a good/right (natural) smell or totally put off by bad/wrong smell (including too much of sweet parfumes or aftershaves...laugh )

I answered this question with the thought this was just a bad hygiene problem and not medically/diet related, since to me that would be a different topic and the opie didn't state otherwise.

Let's assume that they're absolutely super in just about every other way but they smell a bit like rotten cabbages or something.

If they smelled "bad" or "repulsive," always, then no.
If my first impression and association with them was "smells bad," or, "iffy, kinda ewww," then no.

If they were absolutely super in just about every other way but they had skin like an alligator, I wouldn't date them.

If they were absolutely super in just about every other way but had 4th degree burns and scarring from head to toe, I wouldn't date them.

If they were absolutely super in just about every other way but had a voice and laugh that hurt my ears, I wouldn't date them.

If they were absolutely super in just about every other way but tasted like fecal matter whenever I kissed them or their skin, I wouldn't date them.

If they were absolutely super in just about every other way but they were just off and I just never felt comfortable or safe around them, I wouldn't date them.

I'm extremely shallow. If I am repulsed by someone or feel uncomfortable with something about them and it won't ever change, I tend not to date them.

Also, if they were absolutely super in just about every other way but they had a penis, an STD, a penchant for pedophilia, or joy in committing violent hate crimes, I wouldn't date them either.

Hmmmm, interesting.
It would be like an allergy, your nose would get
all scrunched up when in the same space.

I suppose, if the odor did not make you toss your
cookies, you could could hide the aversion, for a bit.

If she smelled like a new Star Wars action figure fresh out of the package? Yes.

It would be a turnoff for me coz i'm an extremely clean & hygeinic humanoid & never smelling bad even when i train & sweat...& i i expect the chick to be somewhat close to that...

I once faked an orgasm with a chick while playing hide n seek coz of her unmentionables getting over stimulated & then you know...but i don't blame her oops embarassed frown drinks

I suppose it's one of those things where it's a no if they're like that when you meet them but if they became like that later you might tolerate it; even grow old together. I know loads of old married people that smell a bit, although they do often seem quite grumpy with each other.
