okay ladies if you with a man warm day walking along a river you see some flowers other side of river and point at them saying wow how beautiful. the man takes off shows jumps in swims river swims back with flower in his teeth is he husband material??

I don't have filters. This topic was posted to what men want in a wife. I just wonder why mostly women answer. I am interested in what men have to say. There is nothing wrong with that.

first I would think...this man is out of his mind..then I would think man I bet somebody planted those there on purpose

A good wife is supportive. But only if her man has common sense. If he displays that often enough, then when he doesn't, she can be the one behind him, whispering gently in his ear, reminding him of who he is.

All I really need is a good cuddle and kiss after i come home from work. and I'd give the same to her if she's had a bad day.
But if it's one of those uncommonly bad days, then before she gets home, I'd light some candles, put them in the bathroom, run the hot water, get some bubbles going, give her a massage when she collapses on the couch, listen to her worries, try my best to reassure her, and give her the option of taking the bath alone...or with me.
And whichever she decides....well, after all I've done for her that night, it's not like she won't be my wife or GF in the morning.

And this is really just me talking here, I don't represent all men everywhere, and if i dont measure up to anyone's opinion of a real man, that's a matter of personal opinion.
But as men...I think we jsut have to regard them. I'm not talking about just being there with them, if they've had a bad day, I'm talking about getting their mind off it by cracking a joke, or changing the subject. Basically being intuitive enough to sense what their feeling,, and be ... for lack of a better word, present.
And if you can't be that, just wrap them in your arms and hold them tight.
Because sometimes words fail, and that's when listening helps.
Plus, yeah, there are some women who don't need us to say anything much at all.
And it's probably better that way sometimes because we might get in trouble for saying the worng thing, lol!

When she threatens to cut me out of of jealousy

You sure that is your pic where is your gym pictures. .Mate

Yeah that's my ugly mug. I wouldn't know what a gym was if I was standing in one. I like food too much.

When she chooses him over her obnoxious college friends for the long weekend.

He calls her and asks if she needs anything from the store and her list is usually short or occasionally very long if he is going to get home in time for a candle light steak dinner and a lacy teddy.

Even when he comes home dog tired and less than sweet smelling she has a passionate kiss and hug for him.

She had a nice holiday planned at home with him but graciously goes to his Mom's for an over cooked meal and 22 rude relatives without a complaint cooking her meal "later".

He has a campout planned but she brings some essentials that bail him out when they get lost in the woods or the ground is miserably uncomfortable and she has a couple of blow up mattresses in the bottom of her pack.

He has a monthly poker night and she stashes some awesome "grub" in the fridge.

His dog chews up her best aerobic shoes, that cost a month's pay, and she lets him off the hook for and affordable grocery bouquet until his taxes come in.

He is pending layoff and she really hopes for something special for Valentine's but is thrilled with his handmade candy and a pawn store vintage charm bracelet for only a few bucks.

She has and opportunity to take a great job, with a raise and long hours that means he will hardly see her so she negotiates better hours and is happy with less money and driving her older car another year.
