Good question!

Yes there is A solution....simple but hard for US to implement.

Just stop encouraging other nation's conflicts & leave the desire to be super power.

Let the peace (Not US) rule the whole world & mankind........the peace will flow from those countries & communities to you slowly & silently.

The U.S. was not around in 3,000 BC when apparent conflicts already existed. Your statement is laughable. But go ahead and attribute all the woes of humankind onto the U.S.; how predictable.

really love when People try to blame the Ills that have plagued Humanity over the last ten-thousand years on one of the youngest Nations, that's not even three-hundred years old!laugh

Well guys....I said and you proved it without any delay!!!

It's really very HARD for you to implement JUST BECAUSE....you are not ready to ACCEPT,ADMIT,REALIZE your MISTAKES.

The solution is really that simple...you really don't have to do anything....you have to just keep quiet....stop doing the things..!!!

The cat drinks the milk by shutting it's eyes...but others are watching....aren't they??

Ignoring the solution by saying it laughable wouldn't really take you to peace!!

One must learn to accept the mistake first to correct it....if really wants to..

Anyways....See, a country is not just a piece of land or some corporation formed!! It's about the tendencies of people who formed it and ruled it.

Though US is formed quite latter, the communities which formed it existed since long back....they acquired the prosperous land, exploited native americans & resources, they formed their colonies & latter denied to accept the command of their masters....they formed their own nation on the acquired land and declared that NOW THEY ARE INDEPENDENT!!!!.............................
....so how can one escape by saying that they are too young to do the blunder??? The corporation formed may be new but the people who formed it are not new ,their tendencies are not new, the communities are not new....they must consider themselves fully responsible for what & where they are now.....

Well...I'm not saying this to blame the nation, this is just for explaining how you can't escape by saying that you were not existed when others were fighting...rather accept the truth that you were always leading the fights ALL OVER THE PLANET.

No need to repeat I guess...Accept & correct your mistakes if you really want peace....!! We are human beings, we can be peaceful for ever only if we all are peaceful.

It wouldn't be possible for anyone, however powerful he may be to sleep with peace by leaving other's restless.

All the best!

well,Old Son,maybe it's time that your Country starts to rake the Chestnuts out of the Fire for the UN,and see how they will like to get vilified for it!

Seems to me others don't want us to do anything unless THEY want it but they don't turn away our help.

Yep, maybe they haven't heard the song

Hitler has only got one ball
Goring has two but very small
Himmler has something sim'lar
But poor old Goebbels has no balls at all ohwell

Seriously? I would love if we focused on us instead of everyone else.

I don't blame you, my point was, Hitler would probably still be around, or his cronies would be if it wasn't for the help we got.

Sorry I misunderstood Joe! The US and UK worked well together. But of course everyone knows about the US. Hell the Kardashians are world famous.

This is not a USA bashing thread. Try to stay on topic please.
The reason I wrote this topic is because here on Mingle, the political threads are a glimpse into American life.
I honestly do not know how you feel safe or hope for a peaceful resolution to all this conflict?.
Yes we have conflict here in New Zealand too, but at a much smaller scale
Can anyone enlighten me to how you feel a sense of personal safety?
Or any IDEAS of how the future will unfold in the USA?

I would agree..if you were from another country looking in on the USA you might assume they are burning flags on every street corner, chaos and rioting going on in all the streets, all police officers are beating on and killing people left and right and that gang violence, rape, murder is happening in all places at all times.

cozy, peaceful, small town or suburban life does not usually make the news

Proclaiming the U.S. is the sole despot of all global conflict is typical of those with a snow globe mentality; sitting there in a little bubble, transferring all the resposibilty to the U.S. while doing nothing to improve their own situation. As far as world peace, at this juncture on the evolutionary ladder.....yeah, when monkeys fly out my butt.

Wishing you the best as well!

A lot of people posting in the political forum ARE Americans. So stands to reason they post about it. A lot of members her are from America because this is an American based site.

Yeah, I've been thinking about this sometimes too. But I wonder if it would sort the problems the US is having or maybe even make them worse?
Wouldn't it re-ignite the whole north & south hate? What would it mean for position of black people? Wouldn't the south get carried away i.e. concerning religion?
In a way I feel breaking it up wouldn't benefit the US. In many other cases it did, but that was totally different. Russia used to be different countries and people that were forcefully united. Same for eastern European countries like Yugoslavia etc. Now those people have their own country back.
In the case of the US their is no such thing as people getting their own country back. I think breaking it up would only divide people more and more and make things a helluva lot worse. Creating a gazillion Northern-Ireland-like situations, few being happy. Or back to the independence war days, only this time you'll be each other's enemies, not England's.
Gut feeling. Could be wrong.

i don't think it's a black or white issue, people are tired of the government lies, they're hindering more than helping the people they are supposed to be serving... people want a smaller government... the democrats are making it into a race issue to hide the bad job they are doing now...

The republics in the U.S.S.R. were not forced into the union. They all had signed treaties, as did European Georgia, former Soviet republic and my native homeland. I raised the same concerns and compared the secession process to the USSR breaking up. I don't see secession ever taking place. It's a desperate measure and a last resort solution to the civil turmoil happening in the U.S.

In all fairness...comparing the US to New Zealand isn't a fair comparison

US 2014 = 318.9 million population/ 3.806 million miles squared

New Zealand = 4.5 million population/ 103,483 miles squared.

The US is larger and more population plus we have the media focusing on everything.

I have never personally experienced anything in the OP myself except online

I agree. Our government structure was set up purposely into three branches to keep the federal government in check and small. The states are responsible for the welfare of its people. The federal government is supposed to only step in when there is neglect in the area, such as providing medical care for the elderly or poor and nursing home regulations as an example. Many states did not properly address these needs and opened the door to big government.

The states that took care of these issues get swept up in the federal agenda whether they like it or not.

Edit. Its too bad we did not build in some type of intermediary state council that could assist fellow states with these issues in order to avoid federal intrusion.
