Joe Biden's Team Met With DNC Officials This Week

Aides to Vice President Joe Biden met with DNC officials this week to discuss the critical rules and details involved in a presidential campaign, a Democratic official with knowledge of the meeting confirmed to ABC News today.
The meeting included a discussion on the filing deadlines to appear on primary ballots. Many of the deadlines are quickly approaching with the first cutoff occurring in Alabama on November 6.

The vice president publicly remains undecided about a 2016 campaign, but the meeting with DNC officials, which was first reported by The New Yorker, is the latest example of Biden's team readying information the vice president would need to know should he decide to pursue a presidential bid.
While it’s the latest clue into Biden’s ongoing 2016 deliberations, it is common for the DNC to provide these kinds of briefings to potential candidates.

“DNC staff offers all Democratic presidential candidates and potential candidates briefings on the ballot and delegate process,” said a DNC spokesperson, who declined to confirm or deny the meeting took place.

The vice president is expected to spend the weekend in Wilmington, Delaware.

The Biden Team then visited several Nursing facilities near Washington.

He's already set for life at taxpayer expense.... and too lazy to have to work any more.... not that he and Obozo have done anything during their 7 years so far but abuse peoples rights and screw up their healthcare....well....OK, they managed to over-step their authority, give weapons and aid to our enemies, double the national debt, and get our credit rating dropped as well

He's also not making his campaign any easier. It's making him look like he can't make a decision, kind of an important thing that the President has to do on a daily basis.

I really think the Democrats have no chance in this Presidential Election.

It's also not the fact that he is a Democrat or because I don't like him or that I don't want him to run. He just went through a horrible tragedy, and I feel for the Man and his family. His son was a fine young man, he was a Major in the United States Army and heavily decorated. He also was an attorney.

I think it is time for Vice President Biden to retire and spend what time he has left with his family and recover from this horrible loss.

That would only make sense to a liberal... because they follow, NOT lead.... by example or otherwise

The POS....er....POTUS admitted himself that he "gets his information from the media...."

Does that mean we can fire all his staff and Tsars? It would be one way to reduce the so-called budget deficit bigsmile

While I am certainly on your side in what logic you've presented here, pasting this "poster" that someone else made, just from a LOGIC aspect, more needs to be clarified.

Back when Bush Jr was in charge, I had the same complaint after 911, when it was announced that the reason that our intelligence community had failed to prevent the disaster in spite of a number of advance warnings being given to them (including local FBI offices reporting to HQ that Middle Eastern men were taking flying lessons for jumbo jets, and only wanted to know how to fly, but not to either land or take off), was that the FBI in particular was deluged in data, and didn't have the ability to deal with it all...

yet the Bush administrations solution was to be to increase even more data to them, but not expand their data-crunching capabilities.

While I suspect that this was a matter of poor presentation, and/or typical biased/fear-mongering reporting, the logic was sound.

Now as to Biden and gun laws:

Is this a case where Biden ACTUALLY proposed that ADDITIONAL laws be passed, in spite of current laws not being enforced? That would be idiotic.

Or is it a case where he proposed to pass replacement or enhancement laws, in order to make it POSSIBLE for existing laws to be enforced rationally? That would be intelligent.

It's all in the details.

Just for the record, I'm not a fan of Biden myself. He seems harmless enough, but hasn't shown any special inclination to lead, so he's not on my list of viable candidates.

I just know that decisions made for the wrong reasons (such as political or personal bias) are always DESTRUCTIVE for the country. So I want factual and logically based decisions to be made instead. That's also why I oppose all name-calling and slander: not because I have delicate eyes and ears and can't take the childish obscenities, but because accepting them as valid discussion points as though they came from grownups, is bad for the nation.

Would loooove to see the vodka enthusiast Biden enter the race and do well. It ensures a bloodbath at the convention unless Debbie Wasserman White Girl Fro somehow manages to get all the kids to play nice.

The last thing Debbie needs is Biden gumming up the works. Debbie is doing her best to pave the way for a Clinton coronation. She's kept Hillary out of debates for as long as she could, to minimize any damage and to give her time for debate prep. She has also done her best to massage the media and to ensure her girl Hildabeast doesn't get beat up with substantial questions needing detailed answers.

You see examples of media lapdog behavior in Hildabeasts leaked e-mails, saying that the Clinton camp had 'planted' the questions they wanted in the Julian Assange interview on 60 Minutes.

You saw that 'protection' during the Dem debate tonight when Bernie Sanders said "We've heard enough about your damn e-mails." to Clinton. He effectively applies that line to kill the issue for discussion in the debate itself, he also protects the party from exposure on it like a good soldier, and he avoids looking like a douchebag if he beats her over the head with it.

If however he's looking to be the frontrunner and blow her out of the race he spends the night slapping her with every scandal he can. He establishes her lifelong pattern of deception, and says to voters "C'mon people. I know you like her, but jeez, she's like toxic waste."
