I'm a fan of star wars and recently saw that the cartoon Star Wars Clone wars is on Netflix. So far it's pretty awesome. Has anyone else on here checked it out?

I must say I'm super excited for the force awakens, it's going to be a perfect Christmas gift lol. I'm starting to look into this fan theory about Luke is actually Kylo Ren. But then again I heard Kylo Ren is actually the son of Han and Leia so ido we'll see.

I've seen a bit of The Clone Wars, mostly Seasons 1 and 2. Lost track of it after that because I moved into a place where I don't have TV, and it's not on Amazon Prime yet.
I really like Ahsoka, but I hear in later seasons she gets tried as a criminal and flees the Republic. Which was kind of a downer. But I understand the show does an okay job of showing how Anakin Skywalker steps closer and closer to the Dark Side, which is something that was kind of lacking in Episdoes II and III. He took great leaps and bounds towards the Dark Side in those movies, which to me doesn't make it believable psychologically. He should be able to rationalize away some of that stuff (like killing the Tusken Raiders to free his mother). It's the small steps that corrupt.

Yeah I'm on season 2 and I think it's more realistic seeing the tiny steps he takes instead of quick switch in the movies. I really like Ashoka, at first she kind of annoyed but then turned out to be a bad *** padawan lol. I'm also glad to see more of General Grievous.

I watched part of it.
I just couldn't really get into the Anakin character being a good guy and being all nice to his jedi friends and his padawan.
I mean eventually he's going to kill them all, or try to.

And at some point all the storm trooper dudes are going to be trying to kill all the heroes in the movies and are going to be killed and blown up on various death stars or on ice planets or by ewoks.

To me it was like I saw the car crash, but now I get to watch the cartoon about their sunday drives before the crash.

Kinda pointless.

she resurfaces in the new Star Wars Rebels anime, which is really good...shes one of the few jedi's left in the series, after darth vader hunted them all down...

Of course she still survives. In the non-canonical "Clone Wars" anime, she is Anakin Skywalker's padawan, and he is emotionally attached to her.

i only remember 3 Jedi's on the series so far, Ashoka, the only one that's been trained and is in hiding, and a boy, the main character, and his shipmate, who's a Jedi but hasn't been properly trained...

Actually Rey is the daughter of Han and Leia. From what I have read, Leia dies in the beginning of the movie, Han and Chewie have been in in prison for 20 years, Luke has exiled himself away from everyone and became a hermit like Obiwan, Ren is a descendant from the Knights of Ren (played by Adam Driver, definitely not Luke) who is after Anakins old light saber which leads him to the settlement of the old star destroyer commanded by a former Moff (Max Von Sydow). He is also after all of the relics of Darth Vader who has has learned about through edited holocrons making Vader out to be a good guy, Finn is a Force sensitive storm trooper of the First Order who joins with Rey to get the Falcon back up and running and Han, Chewie, Rey and Finn set out to find Luke.

Also there is a base called Starkiller which is supposed to be like the Death Star.
