Meteorologists are saying this event El Nino, unusual warming of the Pacific Ocean is the strongest ever in (recorded) history. How is it affecting the weather where you all live?

Here in Australia the inland areas are in severe drought...and worsening...
On the east coast where I am, we are still getting summer storms and coastal showers...
So us city dwellers aren't seeing the true impact of El Nino.....yet...

Until the supermarket prices rise...and the grass goes brown...

we are warmer the the norm at this time last yr ... and know one seems to have a problem with that lol I know I don't ... hahaha although the snow birds have come to town ... so possibly snow in the higher elevations ... I like the forecast they gave no snow in December but weather can change very quickly anywhere anytime...

We are over-watered.
Portland's sewer system backed up forcing
tons of waste into the Willamette River.

Coast weather does not vary that much, inland
takes the burden.

The Willamette River has always been a sewer from the mills and plants dumping in it
