I once had a long series of back and forth messages from a beautiful young woman. After two weeks of this and getting along great in the middle of a conversation she "deleted" her account.
It was a shock and a shame, however I found out this happens to other people, they just up and delete for no reason OR WAS THERE A REASON?
WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON THIS HAPPENING?
Tom

She was probably a scammer and Mingle deleted her account.

I don't think she was a scammer. possibly someone walked in on her at wrong time!!!

Sounds like she fit into at least one of the MANY scammer categories we encounter these days.

WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON THIS HAPPENING?

It happens on all dating sites.
It's not uncommon.
No different than "ghosting."
And it's especially easy on this site.
2 clicks.
From account page: settings, deactivate profile.

Other than that, online interacting is 90% in your own head since there's no body language or tone of voice, and you have to overly rely on inference and assumptions.
That means a lot of miscommunication and not a lot of actual bonding.
So it's more like talking to a stranger on a bus than building a relationship.
You talk and you may feel happy, but they can get off at any time, for any reason, no matter what you're talking about.

Perhaps a scammer.. who realized they were not getting what they wanted from you deleted and moved on...

Perhaps they were in a relationship and their partner discovered that they were talking to you and made them delete...

Perhaps they realized they are never going to meet you came to their senses and simply deleted rather than explaining themselves...

Perhaps things weren't moving along as fast as they wanted.. or maybe they just realized you are not the one for them... but whatever the reason..
You will never know... best just to shrug it off and move on.... it's like wondering why a squirrel runs up a particular tree.... they just do because they can... no real rhyme or reason...
