I finally received my first message on here but I never received a email notifying me I had a message. wtf no wonder women are not staying active members, they don't know they have had someone sending messages to them.

Go here: Mail>>>Mail Settings: http://mingle2.com/inbox/mail_settings Make sure you have checked the box for email notifications. It goes like this: Your email address: *the one you registered with the site for notifications |X| Notify me by email of new messages and my latest matches at Mingle2 (recommended) *you must check this box to receive notifications Now, if is already checked, it is probably going to your spam/junk folder at your registered address. This worked best for me and others, I placed this in my contacts of my personal mail: no-reply@email.social1.mingle.com which expresses acceptance of any notification from Mingle2. (Often your personal email will put notifications in the junk email file.) |

HELLO MY EMAIL IS ****** I RECEIVED A NASTY EMAIL FROM A GUY. I WAS ASKING HIM FOR A PICTURE A COUPLE OF TIMES AND HE REPLIED IF I GIVE YOU MY PICTURE WILL YOU MEAT ME TOMORROW AND ****. I CALLED HIM A *******, BUT IT BOTHERED ME ALL NIGHT LONG. I DELETED IT BUT I THINK HIS EMAIL HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH FIRE OR FIRE TRUCK. I KNOW THAT IS NOT MUCH TO GO ON BUT ALL I CAN GIVE YOU. BESIDES THANKS FOR FIXING MY DOUBLE MESSAGES AND I HAVE JOIN THIS SITE FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND EVERY ONE IS CALLING BE PRETTY AFTER 25 YEARS OF NO DATING I HAVE A LOT MORE SELF ESTEEM AND MY DEPRESSION IS DOWN. THANK YOU THANK YOU Linda, only thing that can be done is to report the guy that e-mailed you. If you already deleted it we can not find who it was. Once e-mails are deleted they are gone.. In order for Admin to determine what actions need to be taken they need the reports.. Once you have reported it then you can in fact delete and block the member for the report has been sent to Admin and they can still look at the e-mails. Please do not post personal info on the forums we have edited your post due to that. Be safe do not go off the site to another e-mail or phone till you feel safe to do so.. Our e-mails are free here no reason to leave unless you are sure of who you are talking too. Site Mod Kristi |
