The way steam would vent out of the manholes - just like on tv! How the streets, at night, would seem to glisten like diamonds The street vendors - psssttt, wanna buy a watch, a handbag, .... How pedestrians cluster and step off the curb, not waiting for a walk signal The horn honking The double parkers The smells The food The architecture I found the people to be friendly .. maybe cause I'm Canadian?
