I have built several plywood boats (punts/prams) in a past lifetime and was looking to hear from someone with actual 'hands-on' experience. I am considering building a Tear Drop or a more conventional tag a long trailer with full head room. eldar |

I've decided on a full sized camping trailer - along the size of a Scamp or Burro - eccept smaller.
Harbor Freight sells a 4 x 8 foot trailer for about $300. I will widen the trailer to 6 ft, 6 in and give it an inside height of 7 ft. Looking for a macimum weight, fully equipped, of about 900 ponds. I am thinking of covering the outside wall with Coroplast - the plastisized cardboard use to promote electors and make small folding boats and emergency shelters. Thanks for all the help! |

I was thinking they were gone for good, coz they look to be impractical .. too small perhaps for a normal living and travelling, but then again .. what you need the most - just a good and a cozy place to share a bed with somone when camping .. and they look cute .. no wonder women love them lol |

Especially when you paint them pink on the outside and a matching colour on the inside.

Well, I bought the HF trailer on sale - saved $40.00. I am researching Texas State information to determine all the safety lighting and building material requirements needed.
