Absolutely, I really miss the days of going to record stores and buying new stuff taking a chance by album covers and reviews I read from thrasher magazine. I couldn't believe the stuff I heard, I knew it was for me the first time I heard it

Iggy pop did some pretty wild stuff,I liked the Pogues...They were an Irish sort of punkish band. I think The Ramones really had some great music......when you listen to that sort of music now,it seems kind of tame when you compare it with the metal of today.....I have to admit, that Dimebag was one great guitarist who went away too soon.Jack White can play with anybody, and he is an electric guitar master.....
I play old time traditional fiddle, but throw in a a little twisted metal at times...21st century schizoid man is done by a fiddle player on youtube that is excellent...I still have my original copy..

I agree about The Ramones... the most charismatic punk-rock band, in my opinion. Of course, Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Stranglers, Clash, Angelic Upstarts, Berurier Noir etc are also great.

Punk rock isn't my first music of choice. I'm first about ambient and depressive black metal, but I do like punk a lot. Not the cookie cutter **** like Penny wise or NOFX. I'm into the following punk bands:
Crass
The Vandals
Generation X
Subhumans
The Exploited
Sex Pistols
Misfits (Danzig era only)
Rudimentary Peni
Skrewdriver
Dead Kennedys
Circle Jerks
Anti-Flag(1st two albums only)
Bad Religion
Social Distortion
T.S.O.L.
Black Flag
The Stooges
Adam & The Ants
Ramones
The Casualties
Anti-Heros
Suicide Machines
Voodoo Glow Skulls
Bound For Glory
