On the west coast we're still waiting for it to get dark to start fireworks, so plenty of time to have some snacks.

What food/snacks/drinks MUST you have on July 4th?

It's all about the ice cream for me.

Smoked chicken, ribs, and sausage this year....although I have done fish fries occasionally.
Having a lil 4th of July toddy ATM...not that I need the 4th for that....and have a watermelon in the fridge for a nice, cotton mouth quenching breakfast in the morning laugh

As far as fireworks, the neighbors have already started.

It's not 4th of July without fireworks. I live outside of town. I have not seen fireworks for years. It's depressing for me since Independence day is my favorite holiday.
