good day my mingle2 family, another gorgeous day in the city of brotherly love with sisterly affection I call it...lol. shots out to my loyal "Vocal Avengers", you know what let's lighten the scene today with a sort of fun topic. Scenario, imagine you in a boring board meeting at your job,& in your mind you thinking " OMG! I can't wait to get out of this meeting". So you pull out your smart phone and you go to your music playlist or your radio apps and you scroll down your playlist to sneak a sample of great music. To make it more interesting, you throw a small gathering at your place with a few close friends and maybe a few work colleagues. you hook up your lap or desk top music playlist, now the party is really going on!. what's your favorite song, artist, band, solo artist & why? What's the song or artist that make you feel great when you hear them. like for me, I'm really big on 80's pop groups like The Pet shop Boys " West End Girls" Depeche Mode" Enjoy The Silence", Tears For Fear" Shout & Everybody Wants To Rule The World " just for example. so tell me what's hot on your playlist? What gets your party started?
Let's laugh & have fun on this.

Extra Credit-

Let's just say the kids are away for the weekend at grandma & grandpa's house. You and your spouse plan's a romantic weekend among you two. After the shivery & cuddling on the couch done now you ready for some loving. What's the song you like to play to get you in the mood? What song & artist turn your bedroom to a place of passion? spill it...I'm really excited to hear what songs that captivate my avengers.....let's do this !

The song I've been wanting to add to my playlist all day (because I haven't heard it in a while):

One Step at a Time - Jordin Sparks

Not necessarily one of my favorites of all time (I do like Jordin Sparks though!) but it's catchy and it reminds me to pace myself on new endeavors. I like Battlefield too, but that's an entirely different mood.

I listen to music on iTunes, Pandora, Amazon prime. Change my playlists nearly every day!

I see you have taste in classic club music. new wave, pop, and ect.
you right those are great memories. I give you example, I remember when Frankie Goes To Hollywood's " Relax" released. I was a pre teen and going to the jersey shore of wildwood, new jersey, eating cotton candy on the pier, that song came on it was a fun time for music.

I have that 12 inch, of course tainted love is one that everyone knows but it's one that I never get tired of! I was 10 in 81 when that came out but loved that song immediately. I'm a huge Devo fan and have acquired a decent vinyl collection of them, 12 in all. You listen to kraftwerk? Those guys were the pioneers of electronic music, pretty chill listening!

yes I do love that Depeche mode song, I had my first kiss in junior high to the song " In The Air Tonight " by Phil Collins.

My first high school date I borrowed my dad's car and after picking my date the song I had on my cassette tape playing...back then to the youth we did have the technology like we have today cassette tapes was big and the song playing during the ride to movies I had " She Drives Me Crazy" by Fine Young Cannibals, fast forward to " Wild Thing" by Tone Loc, " Good Life" by Inner city, "
"Buffalo Stands " Neneh Cherry".
