so true.. and like I said, this guy showed many to see people in a different light .. showed them how not to hate people who are different... good man.. he has a talent.. a gift.

So why not try it on other hate groups.. like Farrakhan's.. wouldn't hurt.. would it?

Farrakhan isnt a hate group, he is an individual who has held controversial views at different points in his life

NOI is also not a hate group for focusing on minorities, any more than the girl scouts are a hate group for focusing on girls, or PETA for focusing on pets,,,,etc,,,

All white people should flock to [Scientology founder] L. Ron Hubbard. You can still be a Christian; you just won’t be a devil Christian. You can still be a Jew, but you won’t be a satanic Jew.”[36]

_____________________________________________________________________

Is his above statement focusing on minorities?

Did he not call Obama " the first Jewish President" after Obama distanced himself from Farrakhan?

Did he not preach in Miami that " black people need to rise up and kill those who are killing us" after a police shooting?

that is not one with hate in his heart?

but to be fair, and if he really believes that blacks should rise up and kill those who are killing them why not look towards Chicago where 750 people have been shot dead this year alone.. the overwhelming number of these are.. black... like 95% And the overwhelming of people arrested for these murders are... black... again 95%

Hey, I thought Farrakhan was sending " security" people to these areas.. which he called out to his " army" to do about 2 years ago?

But they never answered the call........ you know why?... they don't really feel like being killed either..

This man is a very brave man indeed.
And friending such a racist is very rare. Most these members would stab you in the back then look at you.
I remember years ago living in Mississippi I had seen them marching going to there meetings. Scarry men.

They are scary men and they are men who proved their hatred by many means, including murder. They are about as hard core as a hate group can be

I do take some solace in the fact that their numbers are dwindling and they are more of a joke now then a threat.

They are from a different era and they would like nothing more for it to be 1950 again... but it never will be.

Hatefull, bitter old men

issues are being mixed

I did not say Farrakhan focuses,, he is an individual who has many opinions on many things

I said the NOI focuses (its efforts)

and no, it is not hateful to have an opinion that a President is representing jewish people

and no, it is not hateful to have an opinion supporting the death penalty and 'stand your ground' (although it may be vengeful)

and yes, the NOI does go to poverty and crime stricken areas to mediate and assist

but most people who are anti Farrakhan and most the media never care to make a big deal out of those types of things,,,just the stuff that can be spun in the negative,,,,

Well, that's what makes the world interesting.. different point of views. I have him right up there on the top as a hate monger.

And I base that on his words.. and his alone the words coming out of his mouth.. over a 30 year span.

I put him right up their with his counterpart, the grand wizard ( or whatever he calls himself) of the KKK

Both have tunnel vision and both see in only one color

Really, the NOI is out there in force?.. where?, because The crime stats would beg to differ.

the crime stats beg to differ? why? because crime is still happening?

does that mean police are not out there too,, because 'the crime stats' beg to differ?

I find him to be a wise elder, who has evolved his views as he has experienced more of life,,,

yes, and that is fine because you are a follower of his. But those who are not, have a very different perspective of him.. very different.

My question was .. where?.. where are these so called security squads in force.. in numbers that matter..

Is this so called phantom security squad roaming the streets of Chicago in the night trying to stop blacks from killing blacks.. are they?

Just look at Chicago... are you kidding me?... who do you think is committing the crimes there. Who do you think is killing the black people there... who?, MS

Point being, if you are a so called leader of your people and you put a call in for 10,000 security men to go into the areas your people live in to stem the crime and killings ( black on black).. then man up and do it. Otherwise he is nothing but a paper tiger.

so where were the 10,000 sent to?

I am no mans 'follower', men are all flawed (s/b read mankind,)

I just have the opinion that Farrakhan has gained much wisdom in his years

not that it matters, when the point is to disparage NOI no matter what
but the group is called 10000 fearless men and women, they just started in 2016, they have set up in several cities across the US,,,

just google it

Chicago is but one city of thousands,, and there are many more cities that the NOI isnt in than is,, because they run on donations and their numbers cant be in ALL of these cities in under a year,,,

Last week in Miami at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan said he was looking for “10,000 fearless men” to “rise up and kill those who kill us; stalk them and kill them and let them feel the pain of death that we are feeling!”

Is this the folks you are talking about? Are they following the direction of their leader?...

track em down and kill them.. real smooth non violent approach he got there.

Again.... he's own words label him a hate monger.. his own actions.. nobody else's. Some can see that... and some can not.

Kind of goes against the grain of the " thou shall not kill, theory.. doesn't it ;)

an emotional response in an emotional time

like ,,,agreeing to pay legal fees for assault,,,

the 10000 fearless is following the direction of Farrakhan when he said

"We cannot pass by the killings, abuse and rapes, robberies and crimes we commit on one another and focus on the government as though we have done what needs to be done in our own backyard. Our thrust toward the government is ever weakened by our lack of concern and adequate attention to what is going on in the inner cities.
We must end the violence and stop the killings and present ourselves as a united front before the Government of the United States of America. Fredrick Douglas said “ Power concedes nothing except by a demand” Our demand of government must be backed by the power of our unity and love of the brotherhood."

Say's who... you?

Has he no command of his mind?, his speech?. Does he not know what he is saying?

If any of the above afflictions hinder him, then I apologies because in fact we are talking about a moron, a person not capable and I am wrong.

The above was only one of countless hate backed quotes from this guy... countless.

His speeches are scripted.. he knew what he said.. and he buckled because of the backlash

i.e., paper tiger.

you believe him not to be a hateful man.. and I believe him to be a very hateful man.

who says it wasn't emotional? you?

do people usually applaud and pat the killers of loved ones on the back? Isnt the kill the killer attitude what keeps the death penalty alive?

he is no less guilty of having 'moments' than the man that people ELECTED to be President

and

havent people excused all the hateful 'moments' Trump has had to the point of ELECTING him president?

those things didnt define Trump,, so why would this statement or even a half dozen over a thirty year span define Farrakhan?

I do not agree with everything he says, nor do I need to, to recognize he possesses alot of wisdom about life,, not all wisdom on EVERYTHING

and most people who are going to talk for half hour or more in front of an audience don't just waste the audience time by flying off the cuff,, preperation (or being 'scripted') is not a negative thing

I dont believe him to be hateful(Farrakhan, not Trump), and you believe him to be hateful (Farrakhan, not Trump)

perception is subjective

I went back and read the tow truck thread. That guy was called anti-American and stupid, etc

As I said there, they have a right to refuse service (like the bakers and tow truck) just as others don't have to do business with them

Well when Trump starts making statements against fellow Americans, like the one above I will be the first to call him a bigoted racist radial sick person.,

but until then, I will leave that remark for Farrakhan... he's earned it ;)

Today you’ll get a woman pregnant and leave her, knowing the government will pay her a check for the children’s welfare.   But think about this: Your enemies made sure they secured their wives and educated their children to maintain control of the American government and business industries. Yet, they convinced you that uncommitted sex and leaving your children unprotected was your ticket to freedom.  Notice that the families that control the government, the major business industries and the banking system, have not changed. Those men  kept their families intact so they could pass down wealth and power. But they convinced you to abandon your family so they could criminalize and re-enslave your children.

the same as Trump is a 'bigoted hateful man followed by bigoted, hateful people'

using the same standard to define them as men,,,
