Well, melting pot is not advertised granted alot of people come into american happen to be very diverse. We have standards in America, basically like i said earlier no one is forcing them to come in here, and to do something illegally to satisfy your religious beliefs, i question why your in america in the first place. If your belief is so important, why did you come to a country that doesnt allow such food?

well I guess if we should abide by the laws of our "country" then we should omit pizza, calzones, greek food, chinese food, etc.......how about we just eat ummmmmm whatever is indingenous to our country???? Uh oh!!! No mangoes for you!!! .... |

dogs are eaten in china......cats.........yet we keep them as pets here...... corn is fed to only cows in certain countries......yet humans eat it here.... i think a while back there was a prosecution for eating cat as well and the processing of horse meat also came under attack what give the govt the right to say if you can or can not eat something i can understand the health regulations but if these animals are eaten elsewhere the animals themselves should not be the issue |

mango are not grown here they did not become a food source here
till someone brought them here why were they permitted in and monkey horse and such are not |

However i take a different side, i would never do this but in American society why is it wrong to eat animals such as Dogs,Cats? I mean really think about this, is this due to Morals, socital standards, or just wrong? Domestication of animals we have adapted as american culture, yet arnt all animals used for our consumption?

guess what happens to old horses when they die???? they are taken to the horse meat plant.....one in vancouver by the way.....I dont agree with it at all......
So, if someone wants to live in say, the usa, they should not ever want to eat something they have eaten all their lives and not crave it once in awhile???? I dont advocate monkey eating either.....I think with the different foods being shipped the govt is more worried about what kinds of bugs come with it, to my understanding. Banana anyone?
