Don't believe everything anyone tells you, especially if it's about how much they like or even love you within the first few messages.

If they start telling you some sob story that they need money for whatever.. DO NOT lend of give money or any personal info to anyone.

Go into the forums and get to know others, join in with replies or even start a conversation about something that interests you. I think just about every topic has been covered in one way or the other but there are no doubt other angles on things.

Just enjoy yourself but be careful.. if something or someone is troubling you ask for advice and you will get genuine and sometimes funny replies.

Set your email restrictions. Helps cut down on unwanted conversations. When in doubt, block and report.
