I once held the conviction I could make a 'combined' family work, learnt the hard way that the woman who'd warned me about it was right: it is near impossible.

Not this chick! I have no desire to raise children again, especially someone else's child/children. I've helped with my niece's children when she was absent but wouldn't want to do it full time. I enjoy my freedom too much.


OT... "Can I meet someone special?"... Define special for starters. And if you are asking then you're not sure it's possible, so chances are it won't happen. Get a clear idea of what you want and believe it's possible, then it could happen.
