Been a Single mom of 2, now one is married and out of the house, the other is 17 and going to go to college. Now, its time for me to get back into the swing of things. How do I start?? Where do I start?? Put on a few extra lbs since I last dated, My X has knocked some of my teeth out, so Iam very self concious. HELP

I'm in a similar situation...This is not the best way to do it. There are too many predators on here that wait just to screw your head up...Welcome and have fun though, you will make lots of friends if nothing else

 True...but there are a handful...remember the married guy last night, with his wife coming on with a made up profile? I've noticed quite a bit of that game playing going on

yeah that does happen, but it happens alot more often in the real world. personally i gave up on "finding" anybody, when it happens it happens. i'm just here to amuse myself

Take the X to court and have the jerk pay for your dental work.
Start walking or do some type of exercise that you enjoy. This should help make you feel better about yourself and a lot less self conscious. |

Lil-Mama - I was celibate for at least 6 years after my divorce - I had a child to raise, no time for nonsense. Then I fell in love by accident; and when that went down in flames I became celibate again. I don't think it is a big deal. Sex is not something you should do just to do, you know? Life ebbs and flows and opportunities and relationships come and go. Just keep being your wonderful self and something wonderful will happen for you.

I say kudos to you. You've shown great discipline. If your looks are a hinderence in your eyes I've heard there are free dental clinics, various places. Try calling around. Also exercise will help your body and mind. Sorry you had just a bad ex. Small weights (8 lbs.)will help change your body shape rather quickly that coupled with just walking in front of the t.v.
