its not about what you get, its about giving. You shouldn't have to give presents because you feel obligated but because you want to.

Christmas is overrated. Everyone gets really greedy and the spirt and fun of it is gone. I dont get anyone anything and i dont expect anything from anyone.

It's not about what you GET in return...
How does giving make you feel? And maybe, if you are feeling unappreciated by the people you are buying gifts for... perhaps make a donation to a charity in their honor... that way, your efforts will be appreciated by SOMEONE, even if the recipient is unappreciative.

I'm fortunate, I have a very close group of friends and family. If its a one time type of miss, then consider something might have happened and its about giving anyway. But if you have sent a card for 10 years without getting even a thank you back..takem off the list, its obvious they don;t care. I'll send you a card..just tell me where!

 I FELL GREAT GIVING GIFTS BUT,THEY DON'T COME GET EM` TIL LATER. MAYBE CAUSE MOST OF THEM DON'T CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS ANYMORE.

You know.. I kind of felt that way this year.. so instead I donated a bunch of gifts to local shelter and womens homes and I am giving a full christmas dinner to two families in the area instead of giving gifts to the family and friends
