Topic: In a wierd spot with my ex.. Please help!!!!

Hey all!! My ex is coming out next week with my daughter, and says she wants to crash at my place when there are plenty of other options!!! I wanna see her, and especially my kid, but I'm afraid of what might transpire!!!! ADVICE?????!!!!!!!

Are you seeing someone else now? Did you have a bad break up? If you are seeing someone else, avoid it like the plague.

I offered that, but she wants to be around the "Whole family". And we get along....I don't wanna be rude, but also don't wanna do something we may both regret, ya know?

Well here's one option you could take the kids and tell her to go get a hotel room Explain to her that u are afraid of what could happed Good luck!!

No, I'm not in a relationship......We were together 10 yrs, and she lives up north now. It's just gonna feel TOOOOOOOOO comfortable, I think.

Well for one thing you have to think about your daughter. What I would do is give your bedroom to your ex and your daughter and you sleep on the couch. That would be the gentleman thing to do. OR you let her and your daughter stay there and you go stay with your parents? If you don't think you can stay away from her and then maybe you should just walk away from that situation. I mean do you really want to let things get "comfortable" again?

No, no......I mean, we lived together for 8 yrs, and I can control myself, ( to a certain extent ), I do still care about her, and our breakup was mutual. I just think it would be a **** move to not offer the joint up, right? I intend to sleep in my room, with my daughter, and her mom in the other room. I'm just worried that I will be too fond of the family feeling...
