AS I sit here upon my stool.
Looking out across the pool.
Then looking back up at the sky.
Just watching the birds fly.
There coming in from the north.
Finding there way south.
As I have heard and have been told.
Just trying to get away from the cold.
They fill the sky this is true.
No longer can you see the sky as blue.
Intead it is spotted with black and gray.
As the birds all fly by this very day.
They have a mission to leave the past.
And fly till they find were it is warm at last.
They bring with them there familys this way.
Only to be here for a short stay.
Then before you know it it will seem just right.
For them to hit the sky glinding at day light.
Leaving once more from the south.
Making it back to there home in the north.
Ohhh what it would be like to fly the sky.
Each day watching as things all go by.
Seeing the tree tops, and the rivers each day.
Babbling brooks , and deer running to play.
Horses in the meadows, lions that look so bold.
So brave do they look with there color of gold.
The feel of the gentle breeze as it crosses your face.
And looking at the clouds with just that trace.
Of white that seems to wrap all around.
But then it comes a time that you must fly back down.
To the tree tops that you flew past.
For your tired and must land at last.
But ohhh how sweet it is to fly that way.
To see the beauty of each and every day.
To watch the sun come up and bring the light.
Then go down as it brings the night.
To be perched upon your treetop so high.
Just watching the beauty of the sky.

Awww Kojak I think alot of us do but my problem
is I keep hitting the power lines. Hummm sure that
means like things in life keep getting in my way
of going forward. Maybe if I'm lucky next time
in my dream I will have some cable cutters with me.
