Yep, heard ya there. Maybe Windows 7 will be out before I need to change...rofl

One thing I do love about firefox is that it will restore your session if you do something crazy and it "poofs" on ya. Also, they seemed to have fixed the bookmark bug and your bookmarks follow you along when you update it.

Maybe I'll do something outrageous and upgrade to 3 tonight....

I would like to add here, that i am not a computer genius, I have a good basic understanding, of how they work, certain operating systems and a couple of browsers.

I am an information sponge, lol, so all input is welcome.

Ok i have Firefox 3 and you cant change the History views
But it doe's not take up the speed of the program at all
There is less ram used and no bleed overs of the program
It's not up to full speed yet but it is getting there
The only fix is to go into your tools
and go into options go into privacy
And change you keep history to 0 days

This was my fix hope it helps

Thanks, i was referring more to the entire history appearing in the "drop down" box in the address bar. The speed i was referring to is not the speed of the program, but the speed of the user attempting to utilize the drop down box as it was intended for. I do, however, keep the history length to 30 days.

As i said before, it's more of a personal preference thing.

Can you explain to me the purpose of Greasemonkey? I installed it, cause I thought I needed it, but I haven't seen what it does, or maybe I'm just missing something.
