Stony Brook University just published studies of the human brain of people who are in "love". The study showed that the areas of the brain active during this sad and depressing condition of the human animal to be the centers of both pleasure and addiction, in correlation these areas also respond to and nicotine and are managed by Dopamine. Older s who are still in love have the same areas stimulated, as well as, the area controlled by Oxytocin, the "cuddling" neurohormone that helps mother's make milk and bond with their children.
