When I was 27 years old...(in 1976) I stumbled across a book called "Thin Air." it was about the Philadelphia Experiment.

It was said to be a true story and it was written by one of the sailors that survived the Philadelphia experiment. It was extremely believable and impressive. At the time, the government denied any such experiment ever happened.

Later I learned that the experiment did happen but the truth about what actually happened (according to that book)was not revealed.

I just watched the movie called The Philadelphia Experiment. They added a bit about time travel. The time travel portion was not in the book I had read because it was written by one of the men on the ship that did not get transported through time. When I saw the movie I figured that the time travel part was probably just made up.

It may all be made up for all I know, but then the fact about that experiment what ever it was, became declassified, but I'm sure the details are all blacked out. (still secret.)

Some people say we have already screwed around with time travel.

What do you think?

i believe something happened, but not time travel... several of the seamen were found embedded in the bulkheads of the ship, and the ship was destroyed very quickly afterwards. the purpose of the experiment was radar evasion, not time travel, but nothing was ever said about it.

Yes, of course they would not have told about any of the details. The book I read told a lot, but nothing about time travel. It was about how their bodies would become non-physical and start floating through walls. They would have no control over that. If they became physical while they were passing or floating through a wall they would become embedded.

This was after they had ended the experiment and destroyed the ship. The survivors were sent to shrinks, given medication etc. Some were put into state hospitals for mental problems, but I think they were just trying to control information. Some of them were said to have 'gone crazy."

Interesting stuff

This interview is a great overview of the UFO... above top secret black aircraft being developed by our secret government for use in a variety of scenarios. Not the least of which is potentially Project Blue Beam. As an in depth researcher, a self-labeled aerospace historian and someone who has secret sources within the aerospace industry, Michael is a dynamite guy to have on ones team.

In the other thread about time travel, I said that in order to do time travel one would have to change the structure of matter from physical to something else.

It looks like that is what happened in this Philadelphia experiment, so now I am thinking that they may have slipped into the dimension of time. They said that some sailors disappeared completely. One has to wonder what happened to them.
