I live a simple lifestyle, am not into fashions, fads, hair dyes, makeup, or jewels. I cook and bake most foods from scratch, do lots of food preservations, always hang my laundry instead of using a dryer. I was already on disability when I was slammed by psoriatic arthritis last year. Life is a struggle with chronic pain but I am a survivor. I have 4 permaculture gardens, the latest addition being 40'x60'. I enjoy classic rock, blues, folk, metal, oldies, jazz, some new rock. I love concerts but prefer outdoor ones, am not a fan of big crowds. I am usually listening to CBC radio. My last child left home more than five years ago.=I am starting to feel lonely. I like my own company but I would like to expand my world. I am seeking an intelligent,passionate, compassionate man of strong character, one with a sense of humour. I am not interested in men who drink or smoke (I lost 2 siblings to lung cancer) but I do seek one who is 420 friendly. It would be especially nice to connect with someone else who reads. I used to like Boggle before my hands got this bad, but I still enjoy Scrabble.
